Calzaghe has far more superior names on his resume compared to Pavlik.

Undoubtedly, but honestly outside of Kessler, Eubank, and Hopkins, who else does he have? Cal is solid but over rated due to his lack of effort in seeking out the best. He waited this long, waits for RJJ to be 39, Hop to be 40. It really just isn't impressive. Lacy was way green and obviously overrated. I mean honestly Joe faced a lot of solid fighters but only a few good fighters. Eubank was a bit past himself when Joe got a hold of him.

Beating aged Winky and aged Tarver is not impressive unless you are a 40 year old man. Man I wish I had some of those drugs.

Hopkins was not an Elite fighter when Calzaghe beat him u could argue he was not when Taylor beat him aswell though

Kessler is better than Taylor maybe but lets not forget Taylor defended his title a few times against the likes of Winky ,Spinks etc and he was the undisputed 160lbs champ

Kessler has lost to Joe and beaten Mundine who has fought nobody and been koed by Ottke then u have Andrade who with respect is about as illusive as Gatti
