Margarito is his real first challenge. One that he could lose. Mosley is old already.

          I used to be.

But looking back on how HBO forcefed him guys like Branco, Urkal, Pinto (Who beat him in the Ams but isn't on his level), chinny exposed Judah, old Mosley (who in my opinion deserved a draw or win), Chop Chop? lol and even Corley ****ing stunned him badly. Gomez? Sosa? What the ****.

          Who has he ****ing fought?

Antonio Margarito is the best challenge Miguel Cotto has ever faced.

            That's just a fact.

I think Tony de railing Kermit Cintron is more impressive than anything Cotto has ever done in his entire career. That's just another fact.

Couldn't agree with you more. They're both each others best challenge.

If Miguelito wins, he might be the best P4P fighter.

If Tony wins only a ****ing moron wouldn't put him in the top ten.

his 140 resume is good but nothing special. he didn't fight the best guys at 140 imo but he fought a lot of solid fighters at 140.
No they weren't. Margarito is the first natural WW he's fighting and even so, he's not a very fast one. Cotto can and should do better if he wants to be compared with a Floyd Mayweather in the future, because as 23 years of age Mayweather was fighting undefeated p4p king chico Corrales. Cotto at 27 was fighting the 36 year old version of Shane Mosley. That fact alone says allot. Cotto was never pressed hard, never had to fight going back and believe me that's hard to do and has never been in the ring with someone his power won't work against and he needs to rely solely in his boxing ability to survive. I like Cotto too and think he will beat Margarito but no, he has not impressed me yet. Lets see if he: Can dominate the ww division, move up 2 more times to middleweight and still dominate there, fight stronger and younger fighters and win, and some other feats which only the great do.
I hope he can. No doubt he is the best active WW now Floyd has retired and he should continue were Floyd left off. But his record has a bit of fabrication there. I think Aurum knows what i'm talking about.
