Iam impressed with Cottos resume, hes still young. But really he has that xfactor to him. He strikes me as the type of fighter, that you know whoever the big names are that come along he will fight them. The Welterweights have been the best division in boxing and hes just chopping them down, one by one.

I need to get a bet in on this fight. I got up to 50k on Cotto if anyone wants it.

Cotto at 27 was fighting the 36 year old version of Shane Mosley. That fact alone says allot. Cotto was never pressed hard, never had to fight going back and believe me that's hard to do and has never been in the ring with someone his power won't work against and he needs to rely solely in his boxing ability to survive. I like Cotto too and think he will beat Margarito but no, he has not impressed me yet. Lets see if he: Can dominate the ww division, move up 2 more times to middleweight and still dominate there, fight stronger and younger fighters and win, and some other feats which only the great do.
I hope he can. No doubt he is the best active WW now Floyd has retired and he should continue were Floyd left off. But his record has a bit of fabrication there. I think Aurum knows what i'm talking about.
please don't make me argue both sides of this issue. that'd be gay. ha ha ha

      cotto's resume is good.

it was okay at 140 and 3 top 10 guys in 5 fights at 147 is excellent.

cotto's resume is good. not the best but pretty good.

I have one word to describe you along with your buddies Xcaret, Ferocity, Viva Mexico. DELIRIOUS.

Past prime or not, the version of Mosley that faced Cotto is still way better than the Kermit that Margarita fought in the rematch. ****, the Judah that fought Cotto is still better than any version of Cintron.

Yo Run, why don't you back your talk by betting me, I got Cotto. Currently I have all my points up against another member. But I can make accomadations just for you. Put your Mexican pride on the line and bet me, kid.

bodog has it at cotto -265 right now.

i don't need that. 2-1 is fine with me.

i'll put 10k on marg against your 20k.

          just let me know.

Sure his resume could be more impressive, but for who's out there willing to fight him, his resume is about as good as it can be at this point. He has the potential to have a great resume after another couple of years. We'll just have to wait and see if he can land the big fights (DLH, Floyd) and win them. He would have to beat DLH, but he could afford to lose a close fight with Mayweather and still get the respect he deserves. I'm pretty sure he'll beat Margarito, but there's no way in hell I'll put that on anything. lol

why would i bet straight up if i could get 2-1 or 3-1 from someone else?

i'll give you 10k on marg against 15k on cotto. 1.5-1 is practically half of what the official odds are.

If Cotto's resume is overrated, Margarito's resume makes him a bum.
