who's got a better one? I don't count Oscar or Hopkins cuz they aren't really fighting anymore. Calzaghe's isn't better. Pavlik's isn't better.

it's a good resume but the best in boxing?

name 1 great fighter he beat at 140?

maussa? torres? malignacci? corley? pinto? abdulaev?

at 147 quintana and zab are good wins but nothing special. shane is a great fighter but he's only 8-3 at 147 and he was 36 yrs. old.

At 140, those were all top contenders and Malignaggi and Torres are very good wins considering they are/were title holders.

Quintana beat Paul Williams and Joel Julio. Those are very good wins. Judah's win is eh.

Shane might be past his prime, but very good. He was coming wins over wins over David Estrada, Vargas twice, and Luis Collazo (Top welterweight contender)

Who has better resumes then Cotto?

Holyfield (because of his goddamn longevity)
      De La Hoya
      Bernard Hopkins
      Joe Calzaghe
      Manny Pacquiao
      Roy Jones jr.
      Shane Mosley (?)

      He's gotta be top 10.

You take out the people he has faced in the division and all that is left is Clottey, Collazo, Williams and Berto and the ONLY ones ranked above any of the fighters he has fought are Williams and Margarito.. and he is fighting one of them in two weeks..

quit being such a hater man...
did i say he did anything wrong?

i said his resume is good didn't i?

the guy said it's one of the best resume in boxing. do you think it's one of the best in boxing?

this is not a floyd-type scenario where he could've fought guys but chose not to.

but facts are facts. he did not fight the top guys at 140 when he was there.

he's had 3 good wins at 147 but not great wins.

not a miguel hater. i just pick antonio to win this fight. you'll see me supporting and cheering for cotto after this fight. i think he's better than marg. i just think marg will win this fight.

4)ANTONIO MARGARITO fighting him in two weeks.
          5)CARLOS QUINTANA beat him too..

well the local commentator here in mexico that does the round by round had mosley ahead, but the other dude that narrates was kinda rooting for cotto and said he did enough to win
its probably cuz they gave the rounds cotto was running to mosley while most ppl gave those rounds to cotto
i was also rooting for cotto and i still think it was a draw but no robbery i accept the judges decision

Pretty impressive for his age and for this stage of his career. And yes, a lot better than Margarito's even though Tony is older and has been fighting longer.

we are not saying he has the greatest record ever.. what we are saying is it is impressive since he has been in the game 7 years is 27 years old and is close to clearing out the welter division.
If he beats Margo.. all he really needs to do is face Williams.
