don't make cotto's resume seem greater than it is because of his 0.

for every good fighter miguel fought you can find one or two on antonio's as well.

and only 5 of that 32 wins was at 147 while marg spent 12-13 years at that weight.

    the 0 and the 5 losses won't mean **** on the 26th.

by the way out of miguels 5 opponents at 147 , how many started their careers there?
    how dare they....

Quintana beat Paul Williams and Joel Julio. Those are very good wins. Judah's win is eh.

Shane might be past his prime, but very good. He was coming wins over wins over David Estrada, Vargas twice, and Luis Collazo (Top welterweight contender)

Who has better resumes then Cotto?

Holyfield (because of his goddamn longevity)
      De La Hoya
      Bernard Hopkins
      Joe Calzaghe
      Manny Pacquiao
      Roy Jones jr.
      Shane Mosley (?)

      He's gotta be top 10.
if you mean one of the best as top 10 or so then i'll agree with you.

i thought you meant top 2-3 in boxing. he's not that.

calzaghe has a worse resume than cotto?

calzaghe's resume isn't the greatest by any means. but in this current era it's a good one.

what's the difference between beating a 40+ year old hopkins and a 35-36 year old mosley?

hopkins was the lineal champion at the time. when was the last time mosley was the man in his division? right before forrest beat him twice?

If Margarito manages to beat Cotto then he deserves all the credit in the world.
          I don't think that's gonna happen though.

well considering a 35 year old hopkins ko'd tito and unified the middlweight titles i'd say a big one.though i like cal don't compare a guy who's 7 years older.obviously mosley at 36 had more left.7 years apart.the fact that you try and **** on miguel's resume and complain about people ****ting on margo's is ****ing ******.

4)ANTONIO MARGARITO fighting him in two weeks.
                5)CARLOS QUINTANA beat him too..
                6) ZAB JUDAH beat him too...
                7) JOSHUA CLOTTEY <-- anything below Clottey he has not touched yet.
                8)LUIS COLLAZO
                9)JACKSON BONSU
                10)ANDRE BERTO

Out of the top 6 Welters.. Cotto hasn't fought 2 and he is fighting 1 in two weeks...
he's fought 3 top 10 guys in 5 fights and about to fight another. it's good.

                i never argued otherwise.

but it's not overly impressive. calzaghe who gets **** on a lot about his resume has done far more though he has fought a lot longer.

cotto's resume is very good for such a young career. i'll give you that.

                      I am.

                      *32-0 (26) record. 81% KO ratio.

*WBO Jr. Welterweight champion (6 defenses). WBA Welterweight champion (4 defenses and counting).

*Ten former/current world champions or world title holders defeated.

*Twelve championship fights (out of 32 total fights). 92 championship rounds fought.

*Wide range of opponents faced. Prospects, vets, prime opponents, counter punchers, brawlers, punchers and everything in between.

All of this done within 7 years. Imagine what he can do in another 7. Cotto has a lot of time to put together a special career.
