By the way, anyone who says Floyd has good ring generalship is 100% wrong. He doesn't hold his ground... at all. All he does is back up, back up, back up, back up and then dance away when his back is on the ropes back to the middle of the ring.

If he truly had great ring generalship, he would keep his opponent in the middle of the ring instead of putting his back on the ropes so often.

This would be true if floyd only excelled fighting in the center of the ring, but backing up and luring his opponent is what lead to the vicious KO we saw in december. Floyd in the early weights 130/135/140 often did everything from backing up, to pressuring to fighting in the center of the ring. If he knew youd be aggressive hed use it against you, thus ring generalship is pretty subjective, if you are controlling the pace of the fight, even if that opponent is coming foward and getting abused.

How is Mayweather he premier fighter right now when he's retired? Mayweather and his fans want him to be the best without fighting the best, even in retirement.

Floyd is much better in the center of the ring than he is on the ropes... right? That means he is getting away from his best arena of work when he backs into the ropes which translates into bad ring generalship.

But, like everything else, Mayweather has tons of other **** he calls on to make up for his shortcomings.

His lack of workrate is made up for by his economical shot selection and his deadly accuracy.

His lack of ring generalship is made up for by his elusiveness, which keeps him from getting hit on the ropes, etc.

But really guys, Floyd isn't great at everything.

Floyd has backed up in nearly every single of fight of his life, except for the last part of the Judah fight, where he showed that he can come forward and pressure, which is pretty sweet.

The one thing i can say floyd is great at is defense, fighting on the inside and outside and that right hand lead which i still think is his best punch, everything else is just in the GOOD category.
