Dude, he's good in all of those, but... you think both his right hand and left hook are ATG material? Shocking. They are good and effective, but they really don't change fights on a regular basis.

One thing that is lacking from Floyd's game is workrate, which gives the false impression that he has an incredible stamina. He never slows down in the later rounds, but then again, he never really goes nuts in the first few rounds, so... he never really breaks the amount of punches that most fighters get tired after throwing.
he doesn't slow down, because he's a smart fighter, which is why i listed this. yes, he's chooses his shots well, which is why he's so accurate and has been since he started. throwing many punches in a round does not make a fighter's workrate greater. you tell me this, how is it that floyd wins his rounds the way he has and does against a fighter like corley who threw many more punches than him, yet, floyd landed the cleaner, more effective punches, and had the better stamina in the later rounds? the point of this thread is all around skillset, not just workrate skillset. i listed all of the things i did because of how great he is all around. hi scounter punches equate for something. many fighters throw many punches that don't even land cleanly. floyd's accuracy is something special. his ring generalship is made up of all of the things i listed, which is why i put so many of them in my post. floyd throws SHARP punches, and i emphasize sharp, and have many times in the past, because he takes pride in looking sharp in his fights. he throws very sharp punches land effectively. he's never been an aggressive fighter because of his mindset, that's what i mean by ring generalship. his work ethic in the ring revolves around his intelligence in the ring, which is he can throw the same jab he threw in round 1 in round 12 also. he's a thinking fighter, which is what ali was, and srr was. he does all of the things i listed well, and i have watched him since his pro debut so i can justify this and give examples, he's very versatile in the ring.

just watch what he does in training with his jump rope routine and padwork and even his shadow boxing routine. paul williams threw many punches at margarito yet he could have very well lost that fight. pacman throws many punches but against mayweather, he would have to change his style up and throw his punches smart, not just in bunches, which is why many-a-times, you here from many experts, the best way to beat floyd, is by relentless pressure, but smart pressure and you haave to have the perfect gameplan, meaning gameplan a, gameplan b, and gameplan c, in case those don't work against him seeing how great he adjust s to fighters. that's accounts for something, so his stamina is amazing, because he's a smart fighter, and can win any round against a fighter who throws more punches, because of great he defense his and how accurate he is whether defensive or offensive. just go back and watch his fight against justing jukko and tony pep if you want examples, watch them exstensively, watch them in slow motion if you want, he excels in all of the categories i've listed.

his left hook is regared as his 2nd best weapon, and he throws it very sharp and fluent. his lead right hand is considered his best punch, and just because he's not considered a power puncher doesn't nagate the fact that he throws it effectively and precise from different angles and different feints, which is something very effective and has to be an all time great punch, especially p4p, and i didn't mention his overall speed with his body movement:head and foot. he is top 3 imo.

and yes, he noever goes nuts in the first 2 or 3 rounds because of his mindset and ring generalship, but this doesn't mean his workrate decreases in other categories, it is just a tempered workrate, this is why he's so methodical in the ring, and extremely difficult to defeat.

no wonder why your attention span is short, because your fighter's skillset is short. good post though/

I'd say some of that post is very accurate and most of it is from a very enthusiastic fan.
