seeing how he is the premier boxer right now and has been since being p4p since 2005 and he recieves so much biased hate from people abroad, and his gets criticized fro his resume, where do you rank him as far as skillset all time.
imo he's the most fluent fighter i've ever seen skillwise.
his jab is one of the greatest thrown jabs ever
his lead right hand ranks amongst the top 10 period
his movement as far as head/upperbody movement is untouchable
his left hook whether a counter check left hook or lead right hook is the sharpest thrown hook i've seen in decades
his ability to fight in the pocket is amazing
his ability to fight and counter off of the ropes is amazing
he threw one of the greatest and sharpest combos in history against gatti in round 6 of their fight.
his defense is the best of his era, no contest-blocking and slipping punches-countering off of the shoulder roll on the ropes or in the pocket, just beautiful
his body work is completely underrated, he goes to the body whether with the jab or hook is a thing of beauty
his ability to go from defense to offense whether to the head to the body or vica versa is a thing of beauty
his ability to fight off of the back foot, damn near flawless
his stance is one of a kind-he can keep his hands down and throw any punch or keep them up and threw any punch
his accuracy and timing are oustanding---his stamina is amazing--he's a 15 round fighter
his overall intelligence in the ring is the best i've seen in decades
his ability to fight through injuries is amazing--i always said had he not had bad hands, his knockout ratio would be so much higher
his overall skillset and brilliance in the ring ranks amonst the top 10, and imo him, ali, and sugar ray robinson are the most skilled fighters of their era and my top 3 most skilled all around fighters ever.
Watch the haters say "Mayorga`s a little better"Comment

I guess you did`nt see his fight with augustus. You just looking for something to attack him on.My god...
You rated him exceptional in every single ****ing category...
Dude, he's good in all of those, but... you think both his right hand and left hook are ATG material? Shocking. They are good and effective, but they really don't change fights on a regular basis.
One thing that is lacking from Floyd's game is workrate, which gives the false impression that he has an incredible stamina. He never slows down in the later rounds, but then again, he never really goes nuts in the first few rounds, so... he never really breaks the amount of punches that most fighters get tired after throwing.Comment

not at all. i did list many things but all you have to do is watch his career to see what i meant. watch his fights in depth like i have. i didn't just post swhat i did just to bull****, and by the way 2501 is a little punk, just to let him know in case he forgot. anyway, he excels in all of those categories, which makes him a complete fighter, the mos complete fighter of his era, and one of the greatest ever. what i look for in a fighter is not only finesse with punches, but intelligence in the ring meaning everything i listed in my thread. floyd gets hated on by people who really haven't watched his career, and he gets called a runner and all types of ****. many posters on here, if they actually fought in the ring, would appreciate floyd's overall skillset and pray to the man upstairs that they had it. when you have roy jones jr. who people on this ****ing forum alone call the best fighter or one of the best fighters they've ever seen call floyd mayweather a complete fighter and claims he doesn't really have a weakness, then the arguments people on here go with kind of loses substance, seeing how they really have no clue about floyd's career. they really haven't seen him fight, they go off of his ww fights, and give credit to other fighters who fought the same opponents he did for that fight, yet take it away from floyd, how shocking. this has been going on for years now, too long, but that's okay, when greatest like de la hoya, mosley, hopkins, roy jones, and sugar ray leonard, just to name a few call floyd the greatest fighter of his era, bar none, and his skillset, the one's i listed in my openeing argument backs this up 100%. i haven't read an argument from a detestor yet other than dwiens who i responded to, to really change this, not that it would anyway, but it may help me put things a little better into perspective, so until then, i'll just read every post and the ones worthy enough to respond to will get one, and 2501's posts are far from worthy to even read fully, just had to go back at the little *****.Comment
