Of course Guzman has all the tools to beat him. He sticks and moves with the best of them and I agree with black jesus that he could stop manny's charge forward with quick combinations. The 2 problems with that however are that you roll the dice with Pac's power everytime you take the fight to him...and 2ndly Pac has definitely taken a liking to counterpunching and become pretty effective at it his last 2 fights. I think this fight would showcase the opposite of how most think this fight would go. Manny will only stalk enough to make Guzman the agressor while Pac would actually be the counterpuncher in this fight.

People are undestimating Guzman and his power as well. He can really box well and is very multi dimensional. Pacquaio has never seen a slick out side boxer like Guzman that could take advantage of his defensive flaws and one dimensional ways by stepping to the side and catching him off balance after he throws, similar to the way Morales did in their first fight. In Guzman he would be dealing with a slick boxer, better adjuster and a more technical fighter that would stick to his game plan and not brawl unless he needed to. Paquaio is one of my favorites, but i always thought that Guzman would be a bad style match up for him.

I think Guzman has a bit of pop in his punches. When he fought Soto, i heard some snap on those shots and they were hard enough to get Soto's respect, which is not an easy thing to do.

I see you have 62K pts. Would you reserve all that and bet it against me if this fight gets made?

              * did roger train guzman? or is it Sr.?
i think its roger mayweather i cant remember, either way, floyd sr and roger both excel when their fighters are prepared to do what their told in the fashion they tell them. Thanks for the compliment. Honestly, i dont see this fight happening anytime soon, this is a nightmare matchup for pacman, even though alot of you experts swear pacman will pick him apart, this guy moves, every person pac has knocked out was standing there to be hit. This guy is faster than marquez with superior defense and handspeed, hes not going to just be standing there waiting to get hit. This is the one fight for pacman that i really dont see him winning, everyone else, from campbell to casamayor to juan diaz, those are all winnable.

I agree.. bad match up.... since Guzman was train under Mayweather Sr.
Guzman would be content fight by running and keep piling points..

I was about to agree with you until I read the words you used to described Pacquiao, "one dimensional ways" forget it...

LOL, so Pacquaio is multi dimensional with a diverse arsenal? Being one deminsional doesn't take way from being great and he is definitely a great fighter, but can not box well against technical fighters that are on their game.
