    Can Joan guzman beat Paquiao?

A lot of people seem to have slept on Joan Guzman. Maybe because they don't like his style. But can he beat Manny Pacquiao? If Guzman beats Campbell, who wins if his next fight is with Pacquiao?

As long as this fight is not signed or close to being signed......people will say that Guzman will destroy Pacquiao. Look at Valero....people said Pac was ducking him, now that he's Pac's next opponent...few are giving Valero a chance. This will be the same when Guzman comes in next.

i think so, pac-man has many flaws and i think guzman being on defense mode,
        will get pac confused

He certainly has the tools and ability to make it happen. I think that the question if he has the mentality to stick to his game plan and not play into Pacquaio's hands by trading with him, which he has shown agaisnt Barrios and Soto.

He could but I would choose Pac-man over him.

there's a reason pacquiao only fights face first mexicans and mexican-lite fighters.

                    dont think so

When Guzman was at super featherweight he was a good boxer but i could not help but think that he lacks real K.O power.

After his move up to lightweight it will be even more evident, Look at what Manny's speed and power did to Diaz a solid lightweight.

I think he would last about six or seven rounds with Manny but i dont really see the fight happening. i think campbell will have too much power for him.

The big incentive thought is unifying the division, he would be only the second boxer in history to do it behind Hopkins and with the Hatton Paulie fight being six months away i can see manny having another fight at lightweight before he moves up to light welter weight and shows what a fraud Ricky Hatton is but to be honest i can see paulie doing that to Hatton (Paulie on points) cause if Cotto cant knock Paulie out then neither can Hatton.

But hey thats just my opinion.
