Guzman definitely has the style to beat Pacquiao.

with his one lucky punch comment...... i think he's confusing valero with guzman.

i could see the valero fight going the way he described. not the guzman fight. it'll take manny more than 6 to catch up with joan. joan is talented , skilled and has speed. i just don't think he has enough firepower to keep manny from coming at him.

you think he has enough power to keep manny off of him , silencers?

he can definitely win rounds but i think manny will just keep coming and eventually catch him. how good is guzman's chin? i've seen a few of his fights but nothing to tell me how good his chin is.

He has decent power when he sits down on his shots but isn't the most powerful puncher around, I think he has the power to keep Pacquiao honest but maybe not enough power to stop Pacquiao from coming forward.

His chin is good, he can take a good shot although he hasn't faced as big a puncher as Pacquiao.

It's mainly his movement and counterpunching that would give Pacquiao problems.

                  money in the bank.

Guzman had enough power to stun Soto a couple times and that told me something. I picked Humberto to win and came away very impressed by Guzman's performance. He's not a hard hitter but he's got more than enough to make you respect him. They said Whitaker wasn't a hard hitter either but his opponents didn't try to run over him.

I think Pacquiao's power - not speed - presents a pretty big problem for Guzman. He has a tendency to trade in spurts and against a sharpshooter like Pac, that could be trouble. But I think he is capable of beating Manny and I'm willing to go on record now and say that if he's impressive against Campbell, he WILL beat Pacquiao.

Yes and I actually think he would. Guzman is criminally underrated in my eyes.

do i think he is capable of beating pac, yes. he is very talented. do i think it is a lock? no, not at all. Joan can fade in the end. I don't know how he handles southpaws especially with mannys speed and power. though he can look like a sweet pea on crack and dodge a 7 punch combo, he also ate a lot of slow-ass winged shots from barrios. hes got a chin, thats for sure, but if he got hit flush then, whos to say that the straighter, faster, harder shots of pac wont land? the split decision against barrios makes me think that not only can pacquiao beat him, but so can nate campbell.

If Joan doesn't flex to much, he is also capable of beating the both of them. May the best men win!

You made some very good points here. I agree with you about Campbell too. A lot of people slept on him before his fight with Diaz. Guzman better not overlook him.
