Gettin a title, even a paper title, is more important than beatin Lacy right now. Taylor should grab the strap against Froch and use it as leverage for some bigger fights worth bigger money. Why should he go out of his way to pursue a Lacy fight right now? Even after losin 2 straight, Taylor's got more shine than Lacy. Jeff needs him more than vice versa. I'd still watch the fight if it came off, but goin outta his way to do it is a mistake for Taylor imo.

How in the hell are people giving Jermain Taylor **** after the AMAZING run of opponents that he's had. Hopkins, twice, Winky, Spinks, Ouma, Pavlik, twice, and now Lacy then Froch.

Honestly, no one has been able to say, out of the current ACTIVE fighters that they have had a run like that, barring Mayweather and Pacquiao.

      If you're giving Taylor ****, honestly.... eat a ****.

Lacy could cause an upset but i have faith that Taylor can handle him it would be good to see that fight but it would b unfair on Froch. also if the wbc call for him to fight then he has to answer or miss out.

Froch is ready for Taylor.........Soon he will be a household name (with or without Taylor). Taylor has been at such a huigh level that requiring a warm up for to avoid froch is a duck job.......i'm surprised.

You're the one who was crying like a baby about Calzaghe not fighting Pavlik. How many posts did you make about that? At least 50, maybe even 100. And now you criticise someone else for making just 1 post about a similar subject?

Seriously, you were ranting on like some psycho bunny boiler-type. Try and remember the saying about glass houses and throwing stones next time, eh?

Well thats different because everyone knows Calzaghe is ducking Pavlik, theres no proof anyone is ducking froch's slow ass and weak defense. ****** biased british fan, if you even know who I am I support Calzaghe but I'm not going to give him a ****** like you. Meaning I don't nutt-hug like that

No, it's the same. One fighter choosing not to fight another, and then a poster being unhappy about it. The difference is that when you did it a billion times we all left you to have your torrettes-style rant and put it down to the fact that you're a bit of a twat, whereas as soon as someone else did it you started criticising them.

You were complaining and saying "does it affect your life at all?" and "is he your boyfriend?" because someone made one post about the subject. You on the other hand have made dozens, so what does that make you?

I actually found your 'jilted lover' routine quite amusing at first, but then I felt guilty because I've always believed that it's wrong to laugh at handicapped people.

Your original post suggested that someone was gay with Carl Froch, and now you're talking about ******s and nutnugging? I can't wait to see what ****sexual activities you discuss in your next post

Find one post on this board where I have nuthugged Calzaghe. I've criticised him several times.

You're the one on the Calzaghe nuthuggers, list, not me: http://www.boxingscene.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=178567

Maybe you should only post in future when you know what you're talking about. Actually that would mean that you never post at all. So yeah, do that.

Taylor knows Froch is a hard puncher, and feels he doesn't need to subject himself to facing such a strong opponent right now. He's just fought Kelly Pavlik twice - he needs a break. There's a softer opponent he can fight on HBO: Jeff Lacy, who's been shot since his Calzaghe fight.

As long as Taylor still fights Froch sometime next year I don't mind.

Unfortunately I see Lacy as a spent force, but Taylor needs a win more than anything right now. Three straight losses will be disastrous for him.
