I was at that fight. I wouldn't wish ringside seats on my worst enemy it was so bad.

At any rate, both these guys are yesterday's news, so maybe they will both fight harder and better now that they have nothing to lose.

Flattered? I think ever Taylor fight dating back to the first Hopkins fight was against a former or current world champ. Hopkins, Hopkins, Wright, Ouma, Spinks, Pavlik and Pavlik. Froch fought who in his last seven? I think his biggest win is against Reid and Lacy destroyed Reid.

Can taylor take one of these babys to the body? I bet you Taylor would crap himself if Lacy lands a punch like that.

And if Lacy wins on the 23rd, he will have two wins vs. Taylor's two losses. A mental edge, maybe...

Who the **** wants to see this ****? Lacy's gone. Calzaghe took every last bit of that man's soul. He doesnt deserve this after his last two woeful performances.

People keep asking who Froch has fought when hes called out every big name under the sun in recent months and none of them wanna fight!

His fault, should have called them out a long time ago. Who cares about froch, is he your boyfriend or is he you? Why does this effect you so much if Taylor doesn't fight froch? Who cares??? Does it effect your life at all?

Am I wrong to assume that if Taylor takes the Lacy fight for November, the WBC will just go to the next guy in line to fight Froch for the title? I don't understand how anyone can say Froch is getting shafted here. I can't imagine the WBC would make him wait eight or more months until Taylor is ready to fight him.

Also, I have a feeling team Taylor wants to see Lacy's July 23 fight before making their decision. Notice the purse bid deadline is just a couple of days after Lacy's WNF... if he looks terrible, or loses (decent chance of it happening, Mendoza is a hell of a puncher), then no doubt Taylor will take the Froch fight.

And if Taylor turns down this opportunity and beats Lacy in November, he will be next in line for a title shot in 2009, so he may be thinking, "why hurry up chasing this belt when I can fight Bute, Kessler, or Froch for a championship in my next fight?"

                  a good match.

but lacy is far more superior than taylor.

this would be jermain's third worst KO loss.

I have no problem at all with Jermain Taylor taking a tuneup fight before going into a title eliminator with someone like Froch, every boxer does it and its perfectly natural. However, this Lacy fight does not really have the appearance of a tuneup, more a second option to take instead.

I'm sure Lacy - Taylor would do more business in the States but at this stage Jermain shouldn't really be thinking in those sort of terms. Thats what champs do, not challengers, their job is supposed to be winning belts.

If boxing goes down the road of pitching two 'names' against each other, regardless of anything being at stake simply for the sake of money then it is skating perilously close to WWE territory.

Ive always said its a confidence thing with Lacy. His confidence was shot to peices after the Calzaghe fight. IMO that does not make him a bad fighter, a couple of wins against lower level fighters may see him get back back to being a top tier fighter. Which he was at one point!

I dont care what people say. Nobody destroys Robin Reid the way Lacy did if they are not a top fighter.

Lacy has it in him, he just doesn't beleive it.
