Floyd could not beat an Old Oscar Dela Hoya convincingly

he had trouble with Zab Judad who like Oscar is Notorious for fading in fights

he had trouble with Castillo ,PW took the daddy of Mexicans to school J C Chavez

Whitaker mixed it with better company and allthough PBF has tremendous skills i have never seen it showcased against the best frequently enough

      so Whitaker for me

Slick southpaw, with speed and incredible defense.

        Pea 8-4 Mayweather.
Mayweather adjusted and that lead opening dissapeared, i think you are severely underrating mayweathers ability to adjust.

i can never pick a winner in this fight because i dont want to, the fight would be incredibly boring with each person trying to wait for an opening. it would be incredibly defensive and you all would be asleep.

u can say he adjusted against Oscar and Zab

u could also say that both are notorious for fading in fights and having poor stamina infact both have previously lost big fights due to there stamina probelms and lack of activity in the later rounds especially Judah

Floyd used the shoulder much better and could fight in the pocket. Plus he could also slip punches. Power and stamina aren't comparable. Speed also a win for Mayweather. Prime for prime btw.

Good points but Floyds defence has not been as effective against the better fighters like Oscar and Castillo he had to virtually run in the second Castillo fight and when he was a stationary target against Oscar he was losing and IMO it was Oscar's poor stamina that let him back in

point im trying to make is u have to use more movement against good fighters u cannot afford to stand infront of them no matter how good u are in the pocket a lesson Floyd found out when he tried to do it against J L Castillo in the first fight he was hit with looping right hands in both his fights with Castillo when he was languishing on the ropes

shoulder rolling is more effective against the likes of N'Dou cause he is a limited fighter but it wont work as effective against good fighters

How about you go back and watch some fights, instead of clips you found on youtube?

Whitaker was an excellent counterpuncher. Furthermore, I fail to see how he "waste much energy" when he did it for twelve rounds every time. In other words, this is irrelevant.

Finally, this is boxing. We go by resume, not skill. Or else Zab Judah would be on everybody's top twenty list. Guess why he's not?
