Right, now Froch has the chance to prove he is decent too. We will see. From the one fight I saw him in , he is really rough and took a few shots from BUM that should not have hit him at all. I've got a feeling that he is a Jeff Lacy waiting to happen, whereas Pavlik already proved he is no Jeff Lacy.

If Froch did beat Taylor does he automatically become a top ten P4Per? I doubt thats the way it will be to be honest.
If anyone beats Pavlik at this point? There would be a serious consideration for Abraham in the p4p list, but Froch has only stiffs on his resume'. Pavlik fought some live opposition before stepping in the ring with Miranda and then Taylor. Remember too that Abraham basically lost the first Miranda fight barring all the point deductions. Pavlik was the first one to really look explosive against him and soften him up for that AA rematch. The rest is history. Kessler is a good fighter, but does not have that great of a resume' either. He lost his biggest fight and has only fought B-classers besides that. Mundine in my opinion is a titleholder on borrowed time. Andrade is a neanderthal, and Beyer is nothing anymore. Besides that, there is nothing to talk about. Pavlik got his status by soundly beating Taylor, who beat the man Hopkins. At the time, Taylor was in the p4p list. To the comment about being slow: There is no way he would be able to compete with Taylor or Miranda if he was slow. Manny Steward said that he was even suprised a how fast he was after seeing him in person. (Taylor-Pavlik I)

WELL, Ive gotta admit that he looks great in the vids. However, the problem is that he is knocking out tomato cans. Guys who just stand right there in front of him with no real defense and do not throw punches back. I would have a good KO ratio fighting those stiffs too. We will have to see when he steps up, how we will have to rate him.

Froch is a typical english joke. The fight will be in the states so the english fraud will be ****ting in his panties about fighting abroad, not in Nottingham with his inbred northern limey fans. He's so slow it's laughable, Taylor will land combo's and KO this joke.

If either Abraham or Froch beat Taylor the yanks will say it's only because Pavlik softened him up as I've seen several say after Abraham KO Miranda.

Without wishing to generalise too much - because not ALL yank boxing fans are like this - a great number of them are very insulated.

A lot of them said Miranda got robbed in the first fight which most knowledgable people knew Abraham won. And that Miranda was gonna kill him this time just because it was on American soil. Well we all know what happened there.

Its like with Calzaghe - when he fights a so called "legend" (Hopkins, Jones), they're old and past their best. When he fights young up and comers - they're overrated (Kessler, Lacy).

Right now Joe's apprently ducking Pavlik but I can almost gurantee that 99% of the yanks who are saying that will turn around and say Pavlik was overrated after Joe puts a beating on him. Go figure.

I give Abraham a 40-50% chance against Pavlik. I respect Kelly and think he's a really good fighter as is Abraham. Pavlik is also humble, which I always respect a boxer for.
