Manny hasn't been knocked out since his losses early in his career when he was really young and still growing and no Floyd isn't even in the top 5 at 130, he never fought any HOFers or greats at all in that division, JMM, MAB, PAC, EM all fought each other and all are greats and hall of famers.

Sorry, but Mayweather is quite a bit better of all the 4 you mentioned, at 130 and p4p...

The sheer ignorance of answers like top 10 and not even top 5 is ignore list material. I wonder when did these people started following the sport.

I think its Floyd over Arguello followed by a large group of great fighters, but if someone had Alexis over Floyd that is ok, but those two to me are seperated from the pack.

Is it his impressive 4-4 record at that weight?

The wins over tough competition like Espadas, J. Chavez C. Hernandez and Pacquiao? Just ignore that Floyd beat 2 of them and one of his wins came back and beat him twice.

How about those tough losses to Barrera, Pacquiao, Pacquiao and Raheem?

                Get real Tunney.
Morales lost that fight Guty Espadas for real if I am remembering correctly.

no he didnt , at 130 he Ko'd him in 5 or 6......and he clearly won 7 rounds at feather.....(espadas corner even told him "you need a ko, your behind 3 points....")

to the question, he or arguello may have the best combination of resume and skill at that weight....but floyds victories over a fringe HOF'er Hernandez(very overrated IMO...)and good contenders like Corrales, Manfredy, Hernandez and Chavez sound a tad bad for a "best in the history of the division" guy....

i think he would beat arguello(who may have the best resume in the division) because of styles though...

The reason i dont vote yes is that im not sure PBF would beat everyone at the div, nor does he have the best resume........Arguello beats him in resume, JC Supasta beats him in the ring...

The assessment of chicanito is of course subjective, but should not be overlooked is the way Mayweather won, at age 21 he dominated an ugly fight against a very experienced opponent unbeaten at the weight.

Arguello has a great resume, but I disagree on Jc beating him in the ring. It's very logical to consider how JC was better than JLC and hence would do better against Mayweather. What people overlook is that in the 1st fight, which is of course the one to base a JC win prediction on Mayweather stood there with a guy who outweighed him by 10 pounds, shoulder injury or not. The point is JC would not outweigh Floyd by 10 pounds.
