Abraham knocks out Miranda in 4 means Pavlik is overrated.

Pavlik's a guy that didn't seem to start gettin his hype until he deserved it. In fact, most people seemed to think Miranda would whomp him to set up a big PPV wit Taylor. Based on that win and the 2 over Taylor, Pavlik's been gettin the praise he rightfully deserves. The fact that Joe C is atop some people's P4P lists and didn't want it adds more to Pavlik's rep. He ain't overrated imo.

Sorry guys but its true. Abraham KO's Miranda in 4. Pavlik KO's Miranda in 7.

When Pavlik beat Abraham by KO in 7 rounds, after clearly winning all previous rounds, fight fans did not suddenly elevate him to "World Conqueror". After all, it was just durable Miranda. It was an exciting win, but it was still Miranda.

Now we have Abraham KO'ing Miranda after a total of 16 rounds, with several rounds along the way going to Miranda. I'd recommend we adopt the same caution when now calling Abraham the true Champ, seeing that it's still Miranda, who's always been hittable and is becomimg progressively moreso with each fight.

Miranda took Abraham to decision the first time they fought. So Pavlik is better because he whacked Miranda in 7 the first time, right? Maybe he takes him out in 2 if they fought again. The logic to this original thread is flawed.

Miranda fought Abraham's fight, throwing bombs when Abraham was in full defense, allowing himself from round 3 on to be caught with some vicious counters as he wasn't so fresh and got careless.

Pavlik KO's and gets a Unanimous Decision against Taylor isn't that impressive because Taylor looked horrible against Cory (garbage) Spinks and Kassim Ouma who has no power. Pavlik beats a no movement Lockett. I like his Ko style but his recent wins doesn't mean he is in the top 7 P4P like everybody thinks. I would love to see him prove it though against Winky, Abraham, Calzaghe, and maybe even old and wrinkled Bhop.

Ok genius, try this. Miranda busts up Abraham and loses a very dubious decision in Germany. Pavlik takes out Miranda clean. The Miranda that AA just beat was softened up by Pavlik. You see, warped convoluted logic can work both ways.

This is a good take. Imagine those body shots landed cleanly by Miranda, but make it Kelly. And, every time Abraham comes out of his shell to counter, Kelly won't be there with his chin hanging out like Miranda. If Kelly decides to hangout in front of Abraham, you can be sure it's because he's convinced he can do it and still land effectively.

Miranda has never been smart and tends to chase guys wildly. Abraham has patience, give him that, but he tagged a very taggable guy.

yup. arthur shows great power, but little else. he is not very active, and swings very wildly at times leaving himself wide open. i don't consider hiding in a shell great d. leaving himself as open as he does with his wild shots imo is bad defense. i see kelly beating him.
