Mundine - look at your sig, lmfao. a victim of sven "slugger" ottke

pavlik's two wins over taylor are alone better than anyone kessler has beaten in his career.

oh Miranda is a plus too.
Miranda is a fighter without any skills. And who has he beaten to be comparerable to that string of champions in adverse conditions Kessler's fought?

I think you should stop the hating and give a little credit. Kessler is a worldclass fighter and there's no denying it.

Xplosivo, nobody can say for sure who is the better of Pavlik and Kessler. Kessler has never beaten anyone of Jermain Taylor's stature, but he fought a good fight against Calzaghe who is much better. His other big wins are around Miranda's level.

If you look at their actual fight games, Kessler looks to be much the better boxer, but that might very well count for nothing in any fight because he might not be able to impose his game on the hard hitting Pavlik.

There is no solid answer either way.
i agree with this, therefore we need a proof and that proof is when the fights happen.

I would pick pavlik to beat kessler, both of them are technically good, but calzaghe's workrate distracted kessler, and pavlik throws the same amount of punches, but beware - punches not slaps.

when did i say kessler wasn't?

yes kessler is a good fighter but dont make out sartison to be somebody he isn't, he simply wasn't on kessler's level because i have seen both of them fight before.

          Pavlik’s last 6 opponents:

          Lockett KO3
          Taylor W12 (Former MW champ)
          Taylor KO7 (MW champ)
          Miranda KO7 (eliminator)
          Zertuche (NABF title)
          Pierre (rather obscure)

          Kessler’s last 6 opponents:

          Calzaghe L12 (all-time great)
          Andrade W12 (mandatory)
          Beyer KO3 (WBC champ)
          Lucas KO10 (former WBC champ)
Mundine W12 (current WBA champ, fought in Oz)
Siaca KO8 (WBA champ; Kessler was a late sub)
dude, Andrade, Beyer, Lucas, and Siaca are no where near as good as Pierre, Zertuche, and Miranda. And losing to Calzaghe and beating Mundine aren't as good as beating Taylor twice and beating Miranda

Please quit with your bull**** European bias while you're ahead. Kessler was CLEARLY defeated by Calzaghe. That's what he's know for, being competitive while CLEARLY losing to Calzaghe. Siaca and Lucas are piece of **** wins just like Pierre, Zertuche, and Lockett. Stopping Miranda=stopping Beyer, just from a quick glance at both of their records, they are pretty even, except for the fact that Pavlik destroyed Miranda while Kessler ran from Miranda. The thing is Pavlik holds a knockout win over the former undisputed middleweight champion of the world and later stamped it with a unanimous decision in the rematch. How does Kessler match that? A UD over Mundine? LOL, let's see what this board thinks about Mundine's worth. Andrade? I'm going to stop before I collapse.

And make it look like he was sleepwalking. Pavlik's a good fighter, no doubt, with lots of heart and a good solid punch, but he doesn't bring anything to the ring that Calzaghe hasn't beaten before. His handspeed borders on dismal, and his come-forward style will have him eating Calzaghe combinations all night. He ain't got the tools to beat Calzaghe. You can spank your monkey whilst dreaming of Pavlik as King of supermiddle for a decade all you like, but that's all it'll be until Calzaghe retires. And by the time Pavlik has a chance against Calzaghe, Calzaghe will have been retired for a couple years already.

Come on now! You ridiculed Kessler's opposition!!

And I've never stated Sartison was deserving of a shot at Kessler. In fact I predicted an early kayo.

Probably, but what does that matter? You can't prove an opinion right just by giving another opinion.

now they are making as if kessler beat better opponents.....and then they ask us why we call euro's biased?

the fact they are trying to make fartison someone who he isn't is shocking, this was a mismatch, i was actually expecting kessler to stop him within 5 rounds, yet it took him 12 rounds.

Overall the Kessler opposition you listed is much better than Pavliks. I don't see how you can say otherwise.
