both of them were mismatches on paper but pavlik destroyed lockett in three rounds after giving him a beating in each round, where as kessler got hurt in the first and it took him 11 rounds.

pavlik's performance was better, dont you think so?

Then I'm sorry. I must've missed it. The ppl who stated that seems to only be looking for an argument.

Pavlik did exactly what was to be expected of a dominant champion: Completely outclassing and outgunning an inferiour opponent.

This is what I am wondering. It was only on Danish ppv and not streamed throughout Europe or the USA so it's bizarre people are judging his opponent and have never seen him fight.

i agree, and kessler did the same. i just hate the hypocrites here man. i am a fan of most fighters, and yes i have my fav's as well. i just have a issue with people who trash a guy, but praise another for the same thing.

Pavlik is a consistent puncher who not only throws 100+ punches per round, but is very accurate with every punch he throws, he always starts quick, where as Kessler has more patience, Kessler boxed before he could tire out Fartison, Pavlik wouldn't do that, he would connect that jab...jab...and then boom that right hand.

your a knowledgable poster so i question you for questioning me why pavlik would finish it quicker than kessler, i mean havent you seen both of them fight? dont you know they have complete different fighting styles?

                i hope this helps you.
Many people would argue that Kessler hits harder and has faster hands. Maybe he doesn't, but it's certainly debatable. I know virtually nothing about Sartison. I don't know what his fighting style is, and it's possible that he fights in a way that Pavlik would have a lot of trouble with.

I certainly think that there are fighters out there that Kessler would do better against, and fighters that Pavlik would do better against. I haven't seen Sartison fight so I wouldn't know what category he falls into.

I would also say that Kessler and Pavlik are similar in many ways. They aren't identical like some people make out, but they have more in common with each other than with any of the other top guys from 160-175.

no i was reading a round by round update just like you were but i have seen sartison fight twice in germany and i know this much that he isn't a good fighter. I was expecting kessler to ko him within 5 rounds atleast because fartison is a padded guy, i saw him on the undercard of the alexeev fight and he looked **** (btw alexeev will takeover the division since haye left, very talented)

the point is according to the round by round updates on more than three website kessler got hurt in the first round against a guy i have seen fight myself and dont hold a high opinion on, and it took him 11 more to KO him when it should have been done earlier. i wish you can see some sartison fights yourself to judge further.

Well I will have to take your word for it that you have seen him fight but two fights is not the best timeframe to judge someone nor is it wise to talk about a fighter being hurt in a fight you haven't seen.
