Who's higher on your ATG list, Mayweather or Whitaker?

Mayweather might have been linear champion at 147, 130, and 135, but at least Pernell Whitaker cleaned out the division. Floyd never did that (minus 130). Whitaker unified all the titles at 135.
At 147 he actually defended his titles. Julio Casear Vasquez in his prime is a better win then an older Oscar De La Hoya. Floyd has a fanstastic resume, but he does not compare with Whitaker.Comment

Blind fan? Not even 135? Lol, Seriously get a grip, IF you want to pretend your not biased then atleast try and look good at it.Linear titles? Outside of 130 and 135 (and not EVEN 135!) Floyd hasn't won ANY linear title. But if you wann agree with his "pretend" titles then yeah, Floyd has won linear titles.
Undefeated? Sure. He also retired at 32. At that same age, Whitaker had one loss - a disgusting robbery to Jose Luis Ramirez that he easily avenged.
Had some names on his resume? Nowhere near as good as Whitaker's and plenty of people (myself included) have already proven this.
So...maybe he's just a blind fan who can't even be objective just once?
Whether it burns the hell out of you or not Mayweather is a linear champ in three divisions, and whether you like or not, in a few years from now history will do its work...Comment

Its a part of his legacy, why not discuss it in terms of all time greatness? Should the boxing community just overlook the fact that he failed to face the best contenders in the welterweight division?
You don't like what I have to say, don't read it.
Pretty simple really. I happen to use that choice very wisely.Comment

Skill-wise don't even go there? I'm nto gonna argue with anyone who started watching boxing after 9/11 and uses boxrec to fill in the blanks.
Pernell Whitaker is arguably one of the most skilled fighters in history - he had Mayweather had but better power - but you're telling me don't even go there? Shut up.Comment

If fighting anybody and everybody made you a #1 ATG, De La Hoya would be top 5. I don't think anybody considers Oscar one of the top 5 fighters of all time.Comment

being a 'linear' champ doesnt really mean that much. Julio Cesar Chavez was never considered the 'linear' champ by Ring Magazine at any weight, yet they have him as a top 25 fighter of all time, and was unanimously considered the best 130, 135 and 140.Blind fan? Not even 135? Lol, Seriously get a grip, IF you want to pretend your not biased atleast look good at it. Whether it burns the hell out of you or not Mayweather is a linear champ in three divisions, and whether you care or not, in a few years from now, history will do its work.
concentrate more on who they beat.Comment

Whitaker bothered to actually unify at 135, something Floyd never did. At 147 Whitaker defended his title at Welterweight 10 times. Floyd only defended it 1 time.Blind fan? Not even 135? Lol, Seriously get a grip, IF you want to pretend your not biased atleast look good at it. Mayweather is my second favorite boxer, but he does not have an impressive resume as Whitaker.Comment

McGirt over Hatton based on what? Roger Mayweather over Zab Judah. NSB is really turning into a hate filled area since Mayweather retired. I can see why most of you guys are upset, but dont take out your frustration here. Chavez had a draw...Comment
