    Your logic, not mine.
im simply talking if the fight happens at LHW...

is joe a true LHW? NO, he isnt..

    but Pavlik is a MW!

if pavlik comes all the way up to LHW.. i dont see it as a huge win...

this is the only point im trying to make

this isnt about roy, you moron... its about pavlik fighting at lightheavyweight
Roy COULD have kept fighting at HEAVY. JT and Chris Byrd did.

yeas he was a LEGIT heavy weight TITLE HOLDER.

and youve got it backwards... calzaghe beating bernard isnt a BIG win..... stilll a good win.... but because bernard is 43 and fought at MW his whole career... its not as HUGE

this isnt a diss towards calzaghe... yall are getting to defensive... im not dissing calzaghe... im simply saying... kelly fights 2 classes below where joe fights no...
No, he fights one fights one division above naturally. Calzaghe wanted to fight Hopkins at 168. Hopkins refused and said he wanted it at 175. Because he wanted to make the fight, Calzaghe accepted fighting above his best weight division. And now that's being used against him?

you get to defensive on joe, this isnt a diss to joe, or a discredit to him... im simply saying... pavlik willl be blown up and fighting at a weight he hasnt ever fought at...
Joe can make the weight. He went 7lbs above the heaviest weight he'd ever fought at in order to get a fight with Hopkins. Pavlik is only going up 2lbs from the highest weight that he has ever fought at.

As for being "blown up", the guy comes into fights weighing 170, I can't see him being too blown up fighting at 168.

I can see this bull**** starting already, it's all over NSB.

It looks like the yanks have learnt their harsh lessons from the Lacy fight, and are now instead trying to discredit their fighter BEFORE he gets schooled.

As recent as a few days ago, the general consensus was that Calzaghe didn't want nothing to do with Kelly because he battered Lockett (who is a LMW, by the way )

Now the general consensus is that Kelly is too small?

Does it really hurt that much to give any credit to a fighter who isn't American? Because it's sure beginning to look like...
