You don't think 2003 Barrera was prime?

    When was Barrera's prime then?

I don't think the 2003 Barrera would lose to Junior Jones, but that is just me.

      He already is.
And if you count that Rig MAg belt he won at 126, that would make it 5 belts in five different weight division...that is if he beats David Diaz.

But before the fight those particular people didn't give the Philippino guy a chance. That's ridiculous!
also how come when Morales beat an old ass crusty ass alien looking zaragoza for the wbc they never said ****?

I'd make a long post if I wasn't at work, but I still rate Pacquiao just below Barrera and below Morales a bit more. I hold Erik in very high regard, so I feel Pacquiao still has more work to do to be on his level. I also feel that on both men's best nights Erik beats Manny every time.

I'm not nearly as impressed by jumping several weight classes as some of you too.

Who is "they"? You obviously weren't watching boxing back then, what the **** do you know? That fight was seen as a "passing of the torch" fight, so to speak. It was a good win because Erik was a young up and coming fighter and Zaragoza was coming off several successful title defenses. Just like Pacquiao's second win over Morales was a "good" win. Just nothing to hang your whole career on. Erik doesn't, Pacquiao on the other hand does.

Along the way, he's beaten the mexican trio of, Marquez,Morales and Barrera. Out of those 3, I'd say Barrera and Morales faced and beat better comp.

But..........Manny is closing in real fast, and with a win could surpass those guys accomplishments.

                Yay or Nay................
                Absolutly not.

lol. i bet for some of the ppl here even if pac wins over diaz plus over another ltweight like casa, nate or jmm3 plus a win over hatton, THEY still would find some reason not give credit to pac.

lol Yeah, don't comment on my post or anything..

But yeah, I have a feelin Paq doesn't have a chin, I think Marquez has scratched the surface. And Marquez can barely move his upper body like he use to let alone show the speed he once had.

And fightin a bunch of tender old guys and nobody's when there was blatant young and fresh talent out there, meanwhile dude is gettin tagged easily by some of those old vets..Ehhh, I dont know. I'd bet he's got glass in there. The moment he steps up and faces a fast handed version of Marquez...lol People will start talkin about "Paq has horrible technique, etc etc etc..."

I mean you're a ****in moron right? lol Right. So I can't expect you to understand my points. Now Paq is a "beast." But why can't he plow through someone like Marquez? What makes him so tentitive? Somthin tells me he doesn't like gettin countered with a heavy hammer.

lol And look at his face, if Marquez would have followed up, I think it's safe to say Paq would forget if the earth is below or above him.
