But..........Manny is closing in real fast, and with a win could surpass those guys accomplishments.

      Yay or Nay................
I will just leave it up to the boxing experts. No not the members here. Its up to the boxing media.

But if the talk of Hatton vs Pac comes true and IF, and a big IF, Pac beats Hatton then yes, Pac have pass the 2 Mexican legends. But not by much.

not by much??? winning a lightweight title will pass them for sure, damn he's passed them now already if you think about it. EM and MAB never went out of their comfort zone of 122-126 until their later years. and EM is a big guy to start with at 5'8. one reason he's been very successful at the lower weight is he's the bigger guy most of the times.

How come this "past their prime" excuse shows up only when people are talking about their bouts with Paquiao? Nobody said anything when Morales and Barrera fought for the 3rd time and when Barrera fought Marquez. Morales only fought once in between the first and rematch with Pacquiao and people are quick to draw that Morales was past his prime the night of the rematch, I mean after the fight. But before the fight those particular people didn't give the Philippino guy a chance. That's ridiculous!

Because it hurts them so much inside that Pacquiao beat them all.

Other then Marquez (who pac can't even officially get by), where is his Norwood or Junior Jones? Where is his equally talented opponents?

Pac litterally made his name off 2 names. Barrera and Morales. Both not even a hint of what they use to be. lol Not even a glimpse of what they were. And if you think they were still prime, I suggest you take a look at who Barrera and Morales were back in the day.

When Humberto Soto was fightin Guzman, that was to get a shot at Paq. And neither fight happen and those 2 guys are/were the beasts of the division. Those would have been major fights. Those would have been real tests and with Pac unable to get by a clever hard hittin Marquez, lol there's simply no way he get's by Guzman, he's way too sloppy. And a Soto fight would just be straight bonkers, talkin fireworks and the whole deal. And they didnt fight, lol is that a coincidence?

Now he's movin up to lightweight, that is a big deal..lol But he can only get away with it, cause again, there's no one at lightweight at the moment. Someone needs to get Casamayor out of there, so his old ass who's been gettin knocked down and around doesn't end up as another elderly statistic to ANYONE let alone Pac lol.

And you wanna talk about resumes? Where would Pac be without Barrera or Morales on his resume? Without those 2 names, where would he be? More importantly who would he have to fight? And given Pac's renowned all around sloppyness, how would he perform against fresh young blood that can fight with both hands like a Soto or Guzman?

lol Pac is bein surgically placed within the Featherweights simply because he gained some fame off of Barrera but struggled against the other older vets.

Now if he struggles against Diaz, lol the same **** will happen. He'll either go down in weight or they'll call out another weak name. lol And you wanna talk about resumes? There's only 3 names on Paq's list. 2 of which he got his official fame from. Those same 2 names, Humberto Soto (the lesser of "Soto and Guzman) could have done the same thing to those names. And you wanna talk about resumes?

Anyways, Paq is gettin the same treatment that Nasim Hamed had. Steward admitted to keeping Hamed away from a prime Marquez and all the other guys that were mixing it up down there and Roach is doin the same with his child....lol And you wanna talk about resumes? You may be a ****in ******, but you got some nerve, I'll give you that lol
your gif makes no sense..............manila glass????????? when was Manny dropped by Marquez? MAnny dropped Marquez 4x, it should be Marquez glass............

But yes, the prime 4 would have been excellent to have in a huge round robin affair.

But why the **** is Hamed there and Marquez not? Have you lost your mind?
That wasnt Barrera's prime. He was still a p4p level fighter though, that's why its still a great win. Pacquiao always beats MAB anyway.
