If it happens , he could and his fans could make that case. He started at flyweight, and now, is fighting at 135. If he wins , that would be very impressive. Along the way, he's beaten the mexican trio of, Marquez,Morales and Barrera. Out of those 3, I'd say Barrera and Morales faced and beat better comp.

But..........Manny is closing in real fast, and with a win could surpass those guys accomplishments.

    Yay or Nay................

    It'd be his fifth. 112, 122, 126, 130

But no I don't think he would.

I think Morales in particular was for sure a better fighter, but I think Pacquaio has already surpassed him in terms of resume.

      Winning a title at 112 and 130?

Ring titles at 126 and 130 after starting at 108? That is insane!

Seriously, Pacquiao has the best resume in boxing right now, hands down now that Mayweather is retired, and the argument can be effectively argued that Manny had a better resume than him even when Floyd was active, just not hands down.

he could, but that would be determined on whom he would continue to fight next given that he'll be the holder of the belt.

he should then unify with campbell

hard to tell. right now no.

but who knows what pac is gonna do at 135 or even 140......

it's unfortunate that pac is a few years younger than barrera and erik. imagine if manny , erik , marco , naseem had all been at 122 , 126 , 130 in their primes all the same time fighting each other?

the featherweight wars could've rivaled the leonard , hagler , hearns , duran wars in the 80's.

Pacquaio wiped Barrera out when Barrera was in his prime IMO, even with his terrible one-handed style.

But yes, the prime 4 would have been excellent to have in a huge round robin affair.

But why the **** is Hamed there and Marquez not? Have you lost your mind?

              Not yet, no.

But if he keeps winning at 135 and manages to move up to 140 and win there, then it's a definite possibility.

Man, apparently I'm on my own in thinking that Pacquiao starting at 108 and winning a 130 Ring title as well as ABC belt is as great as I think it is.

Morales and Barrera were both basically 122 fighters, and neither really fought the stellar type of competition that would transcend making that many jumps in weight successfully.

I think i might have screwed up on the exact # of titles, but you get what i mean.

Pac has been on an incredible run since the Ledwaba fight, no other guy has been aon a tear or faced better competition in that stretch, that i can think of. The only speed bumps has been that draw with Marquez and loss to Morales.

But...........he corrected that by beating marquez and getting a Tko and making Morales quit.

he's on a roll, but i have a feeling that Diaz , although he really doesn't have people believing, with be Pac's waterloo. The fight, has 12 rds written all over it. Diaz is a big 135 lber and will use his size to grind Pac down to take a SD.....................?
