Well, you may not recognize his name but...
I wasnt taking up for Zab, I was saying that you shouldnt look less upon a person fighting someone coming off a loss UNLESS the previous fight took something out of that fighter and they arnt the same, otherwise it doesnt mean that much. Again you didnt respond about Floyd losing six amateur fights, you think his next opponenet had it any easier? Yea right.

Judah's second best win may be Mickey Ward. He is one of the most overrated fighters in recent years if you base it on his actual accomplishments.

        Well you can't have both.

The Ring not forcing Hopkins to fight Robert Allen a third time is a good thing.

The Ring not forcing Mayweather to fight Cotto is a bad thing.

It would be nice if they restructured the rankings to include the champion, the regular 1-10 spots, and then a special #1 contender spot, that only someone who goes above and beyond what they have to could get.

IE Cotto having beaten almost everyone if he beats Margarito (he gains a lot of wins THROUGH Margarito, since Margarito has beaten quite a few fighters as well).

        Sound like a plan?

Well actually you can have it all, especially if you had ONE belt and you got stripped if you didnt face your mandatories, boxing would really be back then and the man would always have the belt.

Well I wasn't aware you were talking about amatuer fights, because I sure as **** wasn't, and really have no interest in doing so.

I already said that I retracted the statement about coming off of a loss. It does depend on how a fighter does afterward to determine if it was a fluke or not, and it does depend on how close it was.

Yes, Judah's loss to Baldonuts was probably a fluke, but he still hasn't gotten a big win since, so I feel that victory should not get as much stock as a bunch of people have put into it.

I should be in charge of boxing I think.

Half point scoring, Ring #1 contender spot, and death (literally) to judges convicted of blatantly robbing fighters.

Wow, so youre saying Floyd's victory shouldnt get so much stock when he beat Zab because Zab lost to Baldy? Am I hearing you correctly? Skills win fights, the only time it doesnt is when a fighter gets lucky, yes luck does happen, and Baldy got lucky IMO.

If that's the case, then the Baldomir win was ****, which hurts Mayweather's resume as well.

Also meaning that Judah's insane skill is only showcased by the Spinks win, but he hasn't won a big fight since the Spinks I. Not a great fighter to have on the resume.

Half point scoring would be terrible. It allows judges to favor fighters who lost the round and still let them catch up with a 9.5.

I think judging should be scored like this, 2 judges right in front (where the judge you can see on the TV) and then a judge watching the fight in the arena elsewhere on a TV, but with just 1 view (the default view that HBO uses) so he can see everything.
