Baldomir is a pretty good win, but now that Baldomir has just been absolutely nosediving, that win looks less glamorous than it did. Hatton is a great win IMO, but a lot of people seem convinced that he is a 140 pounder who can't fight at 147. In short, his 147 resume is not the type of resume that would place someone that high in another division. IE if Chad Dawson had beaten that kind of competition at 175, he likely wouldn't be so highly regarded.

But still, even after Floyd has signed a De La Hoya rematch, and the rumors are there for the Hatton rematch, people are STILL gunning for him at 147.

Would they still be gunning for him at 147 if he wasn't the lineal RING champion? Really, no matter what happens, a lot of people are going to consider him the champion of that division until he loses, so he will always be in the discussion for the best fights at welterweight.

If he hadn't beaten Baldomir, he may still have been in the discussion for these fights, but there might have been the Ricky Hatton syndrome of calling him too small for the weight.

I am not 100% sure that this was the plan from the beginning, but if it was? Kudos to Floyd for constructing such a great plan to keep his name in the headlines no matter what he does. He really CAN choose his fights because of it.

Floyd is the money man at welterweight he may not bring the money Delahoya brings but its still a good payday. And thats why people gun for him and the other small note that he supposedly is the best at welterweight.

I just hope you weren't one of the ones harping on Margaritos losses as a reason for Floyd not to fight him.

So, what was your stance on a fight during that time?

You get no answer from me until you admit how you took my statement out of context when I wasnt even talking about what you tried to bring up. You went back and digged this thread up from yesterday little messy boy you are.

There isn't **** taken out of context.

          "a loss doesn't matter".

How many different meanings does that have?

I just hope you weren't one of the ones harping on Margaritos losses as a reason for Floyd not to fight him.

You choose to refuse to answer, I'll take that as you agreeing with Floyd, hypocrite.

no, you are WRONG .this whole thread is wack.

he beat the easiest TITLE holder at 147 who happen to have held the lineal title. so he's a genius now because they want him to fight a real threat?..it has nothing to to with his title anymore. he will get stripped or retire VERY rich but without taking on the serious threats in the hottest division in boxing. thats all.

he could be at 147 and still not have the lineal title and people would be calliing for him to figth Cotto.

people were calling for him to fight MARG before he won the lineal title and he ducked Marg then homay the clown

You have a good point. He'll always be in the picture so he can fight the fights he wants to fight.

I notice that you hate him, think he has a terrible resume at 147 and are STILL constantly calling Floyd out to fight Cotto. He is in the title picture even with his incredibly weak (by your admission) resume at 147, so that proves my point 100%.

So either you are 100% wrong, or your reading comprehension blows and you missed the point of the opening post.

You just proved you took it out of context by putting it in quotes, guess you dont know what taking out of context means, when I wasnt talking about what you are trying to get across, ur silly go to bed.

No, I put it on quotations to show that its not my words, but yours. You're just trying to weasel your way out of being a hypocrite.

When it came to Zab Judah and losses it doesn't matter, but when it came to Margaritos losses, it did.

Hypocritical and I'll continue to see it that way until you answer the question which I don't think you will because I'm pretty certain you were of the camp that belittled a Margarito fight because of losses.

lol putting it in quotations proves I took it out of context. You're a tool!

Again you fail to realize your mistake, you brought up something that I was not even talking about or referring to, that is what taking something out of context means my dear son, admit that is what you did and I will answer your question.
