It doesn't offend me, don't worry. I am not sure I'd like the UK to have a grappling community, well, Not In My Back Yard, anyway.

really i thought UFC went to the uk and did well sold out as a matter of fact. Just recently. They've had two that i know of out there. I just looked at their schedule and they been having events in the uk since 2002 lol. manchester, england, London, Ireland, canada are on the schedule. Manchester, england looks to be on the schedule several times and they usually sell out.

Boxing is dying because they lackt he Mainstream white audience and if it aint White it aint Right.
I don't really see it as a "white" market. I kinda see it as "rural" market. Sure you've got the Affliction**** and all, but you also got the super uber wrestling fans from the midwest and the northwest beating out the **** 5 to one. It's also proven that wherever wrestling thrives you also have other grappling styles thriving as well.

What's really is sad is that no matter how bad someone tries, no one can't seem to get ********** on board with wrestling, so it becomes a default "white man sport".

Like I say it has its fans, but in general, in the UK, that sort of thing is NOT ALLOWED!

May I ask why not? It's just as scientific as boxing.

Hell, *****n is the home of one of the traditional styles.

My initial point is the Marketing Aspect

Look at the WEC and UFC audiences all Screaming Whites I would bet money the Arena was about close to 90 percent Whites and a few latinos.

Why is it that Whites are drawn into UFC more then Boxing.

Maybe because They see Whites Dominating in MMA but when A White guy fought in Boxing he was a clown or a joke a hype like cooney and morrison the White guy used to get clowned and people would say White guys cannot fight.

That kinda insult is the same as White guys cannot Jump in Basketballl

the whites had to hang there head down because back then Boxing was considered Fighting

now that They do not have to be good boxers and can grapple of course many Whites will look at UFC and idolize it!

They think Finally we can Be Bad ass fighters too! as before they were considered hype jobs.

                just my theory.

I was just kidding around, but basically I guess I just don't find it as entertaining to watch. Grappling type sports don't seem to have the same drama as boxing for me and I suspect that to appreciate it properly you have to have a proper technical understanding of what, as you say, is a very technical sport.

I could see that with the Affliction***, but not the wrestling fan.

Hell I think the wrestling fan is oblivious about boxing. To some, that was a way to pay for college. So i don't think they were worried that much about "Tommy Gunn".

                    Just saying.
