only problem is that holyfield will brawl on the inside like he did with tyson. i dont know if he could take repeated blows from marciano but if he could it would be a wide UD for holyfield

the size difference is not that great, Rocky cut weight and didn’t do much weights were as Holyfield lifted weights, there training techniques were completely different. Also there body shape and structure is completely different . I really don’t see that the size difference will make any impact in this fight.Comment

As if comparing LaStarza to anyone is an insult? Wow. He was a highly skilled athletic boxer with strong defense and counter punching ability, giving Rocky the closest fight of his career in their first meeting. He was better from a distance than Holyfield, far more mobile, quicker, and tighter defensively. He had a ton of warrior heart himself, taking a beating that saw bones in his arms broken before finally getting knocked out of the ring only to finish the fight on his feet against one of history's hardest punchers. I think LaStarza would have ****ed up Tyson as well, as he wouldn't have patiently ****** the body like Rocky did all night.

Holyfield is a warrior and I'm probably the biggest fan of his first performance against Bowe that you will find. He did fade in all three fights though, and some would argue Bowe even stole the second one as he you know... faded in the late rounds.

He did, but he was also clearly fatigued and backed off in the last few rounds. This isn't poor stamina but against a guy that throws hundereds of power punches in the 15th round....it may not be enough. You saw that Holyfield barrage in the 7th? Marciano could do that for rounds on end, even past round 12.

Some fans on this board argued it was a bad brawling performance. I disagree and he did in fact dominate save for the knockdown though he was clearly lethargic throughout. I also mentioned Holyfield took the fight late I believe...

You couldn't be more wrong. Holyfield is easily my favorite fighter ever, I even went out of my way to meet the man in person when he came down here to Louisville. You can take my words with a grain of salt but even in my past posts I went into long foolish arguments on these boards with haters defending him as an intelligent fighter that relied more on heart to win.

I'd see a Holyfield 118-110 score, Marciano yeah he was undefeated but Holyfield fought a way better generation of fighters. Holyfield would tag him all night with uppercutsComment

Rocky Marciano is the most overrated HW of all time next to Ike Ibeabuchi.
He's a product of the media who beat nobody outside of a corpse in Louis and a tailor made payday mark in Walcott. Lame ass White hopes.
