we've had some great undercards and fights of recently.. especially on the small time like ESPN Wensday and Friday Night Fights.. But if Margarito fighting Cintron isn't a good undercard I don't know what it is.. Rocky Juarez and Jorge Barrios were gonna fight on the Mosley v. Judah undercard and The Gamboa card was staked as well.. Kelly Pavlik v Jermain Taylor II had a great undercard too and when Casamayor fought Katsidis, Librado Andrade was on the undercard.

Yeah, but Floyd-Oscar I ruined it for all who follow in the near future, because casual fans won't get robbed of their 50 bucks again. Hell, a lot of fans will find another way to find out the result live and just watch the HBO replay...

For whatever reason Sherk decided to stand with him (maybe hoping to start taking him down in the late rounds, although he would have had to bank on a stoppage win if this is the case). Penn tattooed him with the jab throughout, cutting up his face terribly before knocking him back into the cage at the end of the third round and, smelling blood, rushing in with a flying knee that landed directly on the chin and put Sherk out with a vicious flurry on the ground. I think Sherk actually quit, as the round ended and the fight wasn't stopped until a few seconds later. Penn was standing over him saying he was done, it was pretty funny.
Thanks for the heads up, Tengoshi.
I respect the MMA dudes. These day's, you got to be a pretty complete fighter to hang.
My favorite right now is Rampage. Reminds me of my APBT. Goofy as hell, good natured, trust your kids type of thing. You cross the line, you are going to get ripped apart....

it may not be what the casuall mma fan likes...but Sad to Say Bj Penn and Sean Sherk made Hatton and lazcanos boxing skills look sub par compared to there stand up battle...penns jab would of made emmanuel steward proud...if sean sherk did more bobbin and weaving and getting in close he could of did more damage...it was very technical boxing to be honest.

Hatton looks amatuerish compared to those guys he came in with his face and chin up and throwing and upper cut or leaping uppercuts and getting countered all night by a lazy check hook from lazcano.

Rampage used to be even funnier than he is now back before his born-again conversion. Now he tries to hold back, but back in his earlier pride days he was raw as hell 24/7 That said he is probably a better fighter than he once was (although he was already damn good), but we'll have to see if Wand puts the fear of death in him again should they rematch to say for sure.

                    another great point!

the first oscar vs floyd jr fight spoiled it...if floyd jr and oscar really put on a great fight then floyd jrs ppv with hatton would of done way better then 800k...it would of been 1 million buys probably.

but what a letdown the oscar vs floyd jr fight was.

foxsports, who this site is affiliated with, doesn't even have a boxing section on their website. Boxing & MMA are lumped into a collective "MMA" hyperlink off the main page...
