Calzaghe engaged in one of the lowest rated HBO fights in history with Kessler and the demand for Calzaghe/Hopkins was not enough for it to land on PPV. It also had a slow start in ticket sales. Pavlik/Calzaghe insn't as attractive to the general public as Cotto vs. Margarito regardless of the nationalistic implications. Lets be real here.

Why would you want to point that out? Mexican fighters have contribute much to the sport of boxing and at times have carried the sport during its darkest times. If anything, one should be commenting on how grossly underpaid Mexican fighters are when taking into consideration what they do for the sport.

It has to do with you saying Calzaghe can't draw. You claimed his fanbase was nowhere near the size of Hatton's but we quickly established that Calzaghe has a huge fanbase, though admittedly not as big as Hatton's.
