elite is definitely NOT a label you can apply to margarito, be real.

you become elite when you've got a great body of work or beat an elite fighter.

cotto has done this, if margarito finds a way to beat cotto then its applicable.

There is never any excitement in these matches? This is beyond ridiculous.

I don't know why I have to explain this to you.

It is a good idea when mocking someone, or at least pretending to, to get your facts right. Kessler is from Denmark which is quite apart from the UK.

You can remind me of how "non-anticipated" UK fighters are all you want but you will then have to go back to my point about Kessler earning more from that low rated HBO show than the Mexican will from the upcoming "super-fight" between Margarito and Cotto which you still don't seem to have understood.
Last i checked you can tell how much a fighter is anticipated by how many people tune in to watch them. So because they got paid more means people anticipate that fighter more then others? So gatti vs ward, marquez vs vasquez fights were anticipated and liked by the public since i think those guys didnt even hit the 7 figure mark in salary for that fight?

It's basically a matter of population, and the UK all ready generally being very invested in their fighters no matter what.
so mexicans cant afford to buy ppv events?

Okay if you are going to go by viewing figures you have to look at views around the world and you also can't continue to conveniently ignore the Hatton v Mayweather fight or any of Lennox Lewis' fights with Americans during the 90s and early 00s.

elite - you can't apply that to zab either. we all know the story on zab.

Truth Moment - had that fight with Tzuyu continued, Zab wins it.

While there's some truth to that, that's not what I meant at all.

By investment I simply meant an effort to know about them or a base rooting interest. Their is simply a large populace of people to care about the fight as opposed to Mexico vs PR... so please don't try to not accuse me of being racist.
