I doubt that Cintron would fight him. He will probably KO a few journeymen while waiting for someone to give him another title shot. Berto won't take a risky, low reward fight whilst waiting for his title shot. Clottey will probably be fighting for the vacant IBF title soon. Gomez is not a big fight or an impressive win.

Maybe he could get a fight with Collazo, but I don't think that win would prove anything or attract anymore attention than beating the likes of Timothy Bradley.

Witter is in a tough position and will have a tough time getting out of it.

I would love to see him go up to 147 and get his head knocked off. Maybe then he'll finally STFU about being ducked by everyone.

Alex De Jesus is a better prospect, he should move up to Welter, Writter doesnt have a chance with Mayweather and Cotto.

I'm just happy to hear Witter talking about something other than Ricky Hatton.

Hatton is a little baby. Along with his camp.

Fighting Lazcano when Witter would be an even better fight for his career.

Why are you mad at Witter for trying to prove who is the best Jr WW? What is wrong with that? I've got to hear this one...Just as Floyd should fight Cotto....Hatton should fight Witter....Please stop with the non-sense.

Like the very charity-minded Ricky Hatton, he is a great fighter at light-welterweight, but welterweight is one step too far.

It's crazy to think that with two wins- Hatton and then Zab (if Zab beats Mosley), Witter could really be a top p4p guy. He's one of boxing's diamonds in the rough, imo.

I don't know why people are even bothering to say Hatton first, it's just not going to happen.

This is a good move for Witter
