why doesn't witter just take all the belts in that division and take the #1 spot. that would be the biggest diss to ****** hatton. its a shame this fight probably won't ever happen and witter basically has no other choice but to move up to welterweight to get some recognition.

It's a good question but I think the answer is that the other belt holders don't want to fight Witter because he doesn't have the financial backing of a big network behind him - he represents a lot of risk for a low payday. Witter needs to build his profile on TV to force the big names into fighting him.
