i think he should definitely move up, and as soon as possible

BUT he should select his fights carefully, as there is a few people who would beat him

in an ideal politicless boxing world it'd be good if Witter could avange his loss against Zab Judah after a tune-up fight, then try to take out a fringe contender, maybe Cintron or Clottey or someone and then aim for a Shane Mosley or Cotto bout (which he'd most likely lose, but make $$$ in the process)

When you have a strong nationalist Boxing fan community like they do in the UK you can get coverage like Witter does. It seems like the guy is always on his period though. He's always got a little mini storm cloud over his head.

Which of the top fighters at WW would fight him? He isn't well known enough to be a big payday and if the fight is at WW then he doesn't even have a title to attract top opponents.

I hope I'm wrong though because I think the guy is talented and has the ability to be top 5 at WW if given a chance.

Witter should retain enough power to do some serious damage. And his style would be a nightmare for most of the top Welters.

Witter would look extremley ordinary against the likes of May, Cotto, Marg, Clottey, etc....... At 140, he's a major player, at welter he'd be a fringe contender....at best.

Witter been chasing Hatton's ass for the longest. I don't know but to me it seems like Hatton lost his heart somewhere along the past few years. I say this because Witter has been pursuing Hatton since before Hatton was anything, when he was still in his 30 win column and still no fight. maybe Witter has Hatton's heart in his hands, he claims that a fight with Witter wouldn't draw no attention or that Witter isn't a big enough draw yet he turns around and fights an even lesser draw in Juan Lazcano, I don't get it.

                      THIS ISN'T SO EASY.

Think about how much better Zab would have been at 140. Spinks, Cotto and Baldomir were all bigger than Zab.

Hatton found that he can't compete at 147. Floyd is a small guy. He is prolly 135/140. But he can compete at WW. The current crop of WW's are HUGE: Cintron, margarito, Clottey, Cotto, etc.

Witter at 147 is probably like Shane Mosley at 154. Or Oscar at 160.
