Don't blame him. Apart from Hatton, no-one else in the division can land him a big payday. A Zab rematch would be good but the rest of the big boys at Welterweight would batter him.

everyone is dangerous at 147. mayweather wouldnt have time for witter so should he should go straight for cotto. he CAN beat him imo.

Zab has to get by Mosley first, no easy task. I don't see anyone at WW with a title that Witter could beat right now. Depends on whether he cares about titles or just money.

Zab won't get past Mosley. Not gonna happen.

This will be a perfect opportunity for Witter though. Zab won't have enough stock left to get a bigger fight, which will be Witter's chance to get his name out across the way.

he should. the competition is much better there anyway, and if junior is as good as he says he is lets see him against the cotto's, ssm's, marg's, etc.....if he can beat tehm than he can run his mouth all he wants.

Witter is a very good fighter indeed. I think this would be a great move for his career.

How funny would it be if.........?

..Hatton lost to Mallignagi next year.. went down the ranks, and junior witter decided...'' I want paulie, hatton, youv'e had your chance''. Paulie likes and respects witter.. would be a technical bout with a lot of showboating, but can you imagine witter winning, then holding hatton's old belt..?

                    makes you think.

Hatton doesn't seem to mind that his number one contender at 140 pounds calls him a coward in public.
