Nate deserves allot more credit as a fighter than the likes of Oscar, Calzaghe and Floyd, who all deserve credit but this man, he beat a young undefeated CHAMPION and has 3 OFFICIAL (not magazine) belts.

Then for now i'd put the p4p list like this:
    1. Floyd Mayweather (yeah he's lazy and older recently but i never saw a greater talent fight in my lifetime and only Roy Jones was his class)
    2. Manny Pacquiao (i don't like his style but the man is probably the strongest p4p i've seen fight)
    3. Miguel Cotto (cotto is the second strongest p4p i've seen fight in recent times, he also adds excelent skill to the package)
    4. Nate Campbell (explained and the reason i elaborated this list)
    5. Joel Casamayor (similar to Nate, he's beaten an undefeated almost 10 years younger opponent, against all odds. that is quite a feat!)
    6. Carlos Quintana (beaten my boy williams and i was surprised, i think it was more williams losing that fight than quintana figuring him out)
    7. Antonio Margarito (kickass fighter with allot of heart and gutsy too, 3rd strongest fighter p4p)

I could continue but these are the most visible, important fighters of the moment.

Why not get a fight with marquez beat him and get him out of the picture and put yourself in a position to be the logical front runner for pacman even if its in april of next year. He said he would fight marquez in july that would be great but dont know if it will happen. Campbell is just out of luck kind of. And showing up at press conferences talking **** to people is getting him much respect.

The only way Marquez can get a third Pacquiao fight is if he has something to bring to the table. Trinkets, belts like the ones Campbell has, that goes a long way towards bargaining.

He didn't talk **** to Casamayor at the press conference. Campbell was there being quiet and respectful but then MaxBoxing's Steve Kim brought up Campbell as the logical next opponent for Casamayor and Casamayor dismissed him, refusing to go on with the presser unless Campbell was escorted out.

Campbell has expressed that he has no problems fighting Marquez in July, but Golden Boy doesn't want July, they want November so it can keep Campbell out of the Pacquiao sweepstakes. This is my point.

It's "mabuhay", but close enough hehe.

I understand what you're saying now, but I disagree.

I just want one question answered: Why won't GBP match Marquez and Campbell in July, instead of November?

Campbell not taking the Marquez fight in July was a brilliant, applause-worthy move.

Don't you think it is a little odd that your entire P4P list consists only of fighters between 135-147 lbs?

I dont know what the big deal is? Why not just fight whoever Don puts in front of him and then fight Marquez in a few months. He's talking all this ****, at the end of the day he's going to shoot himself in the foot, GBP has all the good fighters around his division.

yup. Then old ass Nate is going to fight a slick fighter and lose and there goes all his dreams for having a big ****en head right now. Nate will hit 40yrs old and find himself looking for a job somewhere since he was so ****** when he had the opportunity to make good for himself.

You read my refutations above, right?

If all goes according to plan, Campbell is going to wind up a much richer man than if he did what you suggest and played ball.

I would wait till november to fight marquez if it ment the biggest paycheck of my life. It's cool he's a champ now but no one is really buying that he's this superstar now. He's not. Some people can demand stuff some people cant. I can understand im sure he's been ****ed over many times. he's been nothing but a contendar/road warrior his whole life and now he is the champ. But he's getting older he's not going to be fighting much longer and now would have been a great opportunity for him to make himself rich and have him and his family set for the rest of their lifes. But your doing and saying this type of stuff to really the only company that can make all that happen for you right now and your ****ing yourself over. Sometimes it's best to just bite your tongue for your own good.
If GBP wanted to do a deal with Campbell it's because it made financial sense to them, not because they like him and want to be his friend. You think GBP are going to turn their back on a deal that would make them money because Campbell insulted one of them? It's like saying that Oscar might refuse to fight Floyd if Floyd trash talks about him. Not gonna happen.
