I never said Marquez wasn't a big fight. I said Pacquiao is a much bigger fight financially.

Why do you say there is "no way" Campbell gets a fight with Pacquiao? That would completely contradict this ESPN article.

Macau Casino in China? Sounds like a lot more money on the table than the Marquez fight. If Bob Arum has already stated verbally that the fight is a real possibility then Campbell has a real shot of landing the fight. Campbell is taking a lot of steam out of GBP by completely circumventing them and The Ring title and fighting for all of the belts on a larger event than GBP could have put together.

Should Campbell fight Pacquiao, that would be the worst blow to GBP and would discredit the Ring Magazine title.

Pacquiao has a date in July against David Diaz, then has another in November without an opponent. If Pacquiao has one belt and Campbell has three, obviously Campbell is the most logical opponent.

But if Campbell happens to be tied up in November, say against someone like Marquez, would that not exclude him? Then guess which promoter strolls along with available guys like Juan Diaz, Michael Katsidis or Casamayor and his Ring Title? Golden Boy Promotions.

There is alot of truth to that. If nate was a smart man he would haven't said all that. Sometimes you have to just bite your tongue and hold back your words. In this instance nate might have ****ed his ownself over. That's good to speak your mind say the truth but something about $$$$$$$$$$$ signs tells me i rather stay quite sometimes lol

he could be quiet and let them take the reigns over in what happens at Lightweight. He could stay silent with the proposed Marquez fight.

but he knows whats going on and I think they didn't expect him to. He knows that by offering him JMM in Nov/Dec he is in effect out of fighting Manny this year if at all. He also knows that if Casa and Diaz fight he is out of that running as well, setting up Golden Boy with options waiting for Manny

Manny could fight the winner of Casa Diaz
Manny could fight Katsidis in the interim
Manny could fight Santa Cruz in the interim

while I think the next question would be "well wouldnt they freeze JMM out of rematch this year as well" I dont think Manny was going to fight JMM this year regardless.

I see what your saying. I think marquez has a better chance at getting pacquio than campbell. Why not get a fight with marquez beat him and get him out of the picture and put yourself in a position to be the logical front runner for pacman even if its in april of next year. He said he would fight marquez in july that would be great but dont know if it will happen. Campbell is just out of luck kind of. And showing up at press conferences talking **** to people is getting him much respect.

marquez beats cambell easily haha cambell sucks so does juan diaz and so does david diaz and so does joel casamayor and so does katsidis...the only good lightweights would be pacquiao and marquez...

Campbell is old enough but now he needs to fight some unknown and look pretty bad to set up a fight with Pacquiao. Arum won't take risks with a slick boxer....he needs a come forward fighter who is past his prime.
