Pavlik is the ****ing Undisputed Middleweight Champion of the world, he is in the top p4p rankings and is one of the hardest p4p punchers in boxing.

Pavlik is a predator, he would completely overwhelm Floyd and knock him out cold....Anybody with at least 2 brain cells knows that Pavlik would KO Floyd.

Pavlik is a very big middleweight. And as for the comparrison to Roy Jones v. Ruiz analogy, P4P of course, Pavlik is no Ruiz. There are weight classes for a reason.....

Personally, I think that Floyd is a great fighter, he could make even more out of his talent than he does, but P4P he is No1.

HOWEVER, it is just madness to think he would beat Pavlik. My reasoning: Floyd has an awesome defence, but he is going to ship punches, not as many as other fighters less skillful, but he will be hit. If Pavlik catches him flush then that is game over in my opinion, but even if he doesn't, he won't have to catch him that many times to make his power count. Floyd would probably win rounds but I don't believe he could fight on the backfoot for the whole 12 rounds. My opinion should take nothing away from Floyd, but LMW is his max weight for a world title and that has more to do with the lack of talent in the division than Floyds undoubted and outstanding skill.

I can understand people envisaging a Hagler / Sugar Ray type fight, but I'm sticking to my guns on this one

pavlik isnt exactly known for his creativity and its not like floyd wouldnt see and counter a million repetitive one two one two's coming at him all night...............if pavlik catches floyd floyd is out cold , pavlik would have the punchers chance but i can easily see floyd out boxing him

I said Pavlik KO, 36 minutes is a long time to avoid being hit. Even PAv hitting arms and shoulders is going to be sore for Floyd, also Pav actually has a decent jab.

If Floyd wasn't so good I'd be super confident, but Pavlik is liable to being outboxed and looks slow at times.

Pavlik gets him in the end late round KO I think.

Shouldn't happen though, it doesn't even resemble fair.
