Oscar is not even a big Junior Middleweight whos used to pushing people around. At this weight he's been more of a speed based boxer puncher. It's a gigantic difference.

People in this thread are forgetting that 160 would tear away at Floyd's speed/stamina, he will be carrying more weight which will in turn slow him down a lot. Floyd is weak against a GOOD jab, but see there's a difference because De La Hoya has a good jab and at 154 being YEARS past his prime he was able to get the better of Floyd early on when using his jab.. now, imagine Floyd 6 pounds higher (he wasn't even a full 154 against Oscar) against the current undefeated, undisputed champion who fights behind a jab, a better jab than Oscar's at that.

Floyd stands no chance in that fight, when looking at his chances it's like pitching a perfect game for an entire season, it's 99.infinity% chances against him. Pavlik takes a GREAT shot, even when dropped he gets up to win by KO so Floyd wont have anything to surprise Kelly and at the rate he will have to be moving at just to wether the storm by Pavlik will be enough so that by rounds 11-12 Floyd wont be the same. those long arms wont help him because Kelly's arms are longer (I think) and has the height so he is in more control of the range.

Floyd would get hurt fighting Kelly, seriously hurt. I don't mean hurt as in cuts or **** like that but in just overall longevity, even if he was to ever win he wouldn't rebound from such a war. the key to beating Floyd is to press him and force him to fight all while working behind your jab, Kelly can do that to a T. also remember Floyd's chin has never really been tested, it has yet to get hit by back to back powershots. I'll find it hard to believe that after 10+ years of never really getting rocked that he will just be able to shake off back to back bombs by someone Pavlik's size.

Pavlik has a good chin?? thats news to me. The onyl reason he went on to beat Taylor is because the referee let him.

He was stumbling all over the place, that isn`t a good chin. A good chin means either you get tagged and dont even blink, or you get dropped but bounce up again as if it didn`t happen. Kelly was legless for about 2 minutes.

Didn't Pavlik eat a lot of punches from Edison Miranda during their fight? Isn't Miranda supposed to be one of, if not the, hardest p4p punchers in the sport? Why bring up Pavlik's chin in this matchup anyway? Floyd has about as much chance of stopping Pavlik as getting struck by lightening.

                    • wow 32 idiots pick 5 foot 7 floyd mayweather who could still make 140 with no problem to beat the 6 foot 3 middleweight champion who has a 95percent kayo percentage and a jab that could keep floyd about 5 feet away from him at all times. this is a ****ing joke right?
