Kelly Pavlik vs Floyd Mayweather at 160

Jones moving up to fight Ruiz was a huge thing. Ruiz is 6'2" and much larger than Roy. When you got Mayweather who is 5'7" and change, fighting a guy who is even slightly taller than Ruiz and a better all around fighter in every aspect as well as throws about 3x the punches, well I just cannot see Floyd being successful at all. To do anything, he will always be in Pavlik's punching range. Pavlik is not fast, but he does have great timing. It is that timing, coupled with strength and power, that would simply overwhelm Floyd.

Floyd as gifted as he is, is only human folks. You need to be fair to him here. He will have enough trouble fighting the Margarito's and Cotto's of the world. At least put him in with guys who are not monsters compared to him.

All of Floyd's other fights are irrelevant. Those were much smaller men. Corrales, seriously? He didnt even throw jabs. He's an inside fighter, always has been.

Castillo isnt 6'3 170 pounds.

A 5-9..155 pound Floyd would beat Pavlik easy.

Yer exactly, we get some guy called 'WLAD OWMZ' with Wlad emblazzoned in his Avy and Sig who goes around calling people nutthuggers when they vote for the P4PNo1 to fight a middleweight (one class above the 154lb title Floyd took) and beat him.... This forum is a disgrace sometimes. I just finished watching Corrales/Mayweather the other day so I am going Mayweather UD.

Look as crazy as it may sound. After seeing how Taylor box'd Pavlik 2nd fight that is when I found out PBF can win a U.D out of him. Pavlik isn't too fast but is very active. I see Floyd blocking alot of his shots and countering. I see an entertaining fight but too so many it'll be boring.

If my life depended on it...I'd still say Floyd beats Pavlik a U.D. I can't see Pavlik landing anything that jab ain't fast enough. +++ Pavlik, to me is a bit too predictable to beat Floyd.
