    jab, jab, right hand...yawn.

Floyd wins a pot shot festival..and Pavlik goes the whole fight withut landing anything significant.
you need to watch some boxing and educate yourself. i said it before and ill say it again if mayweather is scared to fight a true welterweight why would he fight a true middleweight?? i wouldnt give mayweather any rounds if he just ran.

but yea Pavlik most likely K.O's him....

This thread is a big laugh
          Pavlik wins by slaughter
Floyd would come out unrecognizable after the fight

seems like you cant give an honest opinion without being flamed in here...
exactly, ****heads like wlad own and other punk ass hors on here think because of how small floyd is to kelly that he stands no chance. i see floyd outboxing the living **** out of pavlik, like spinks did taylor, but seeing as floyd is a master boxer, much more pure than spinks ever been and moves better, and does pretty much everything better, i don't see how kelly stands a chance of beating him minus him knocking him out, and floyd has not weak chin by any means, i'd pick floyd over kelly and taylor any day. he's too good, skillwise. kelly is a good fighter, but is too basic for floyd.

Why even make this thread if a fight like this is virtually impossible to ever happen. ****ing waste of space on NSB.

If Mayweather could beat a middleweight champion, then why wouldn't he fight Winky Wright at 154 with a day-before-fight weigh-in? Flashback to 2005:

"Because Wright, who prefers to fight at 160, could probably put on as many as 15 pounds between the weigh-in (the day before) and the fight and enter the ring as high as 165-170, Mayweather's camp requested a morning-of-the-fight weigh-in. That included a stipulation that Wright couldn't go more than eight pounds above the limit."

Assuming that Pavlik is allowed to weigh-in the day before the fight, how much of a size advantage would Pavlik retain by going up to 172+, while Mayweather weighed in at 150 for Oscar de la Hoya?

Mayweather saw the size difference against Wright as a serious obstacle, how more so would it be against a prime Pavlik who just beat Taylor at 166?

Oscar's size and strength seriously bothered Mayweather last May. Floyd does not want to fight at middleweight. Nor should he.
