Sure and I wont argue any of that... im sure a blocked shot from oscar wouldnt feel stupendous either... and yes... i know kelly has more power than oscar... im simply saying we also saw kelly gas out a little in the 2nd jermain fight... it is fatiguing to the mind, to try and follow someone around all night that you just cant get your hands on...

the foot work... floyds anticipation of the "jab jab right hand" could very well play a key into floyds thikning ability.

I think what makes me actually THINK about this fight, than some people who just go "Kelly Pavlik, Duhhh" is the difference in "thinking ability" inside the ring between floyd and kelly.

Floyd doesn't do well with good jabbers either.

Kelly has a good jab.

The key to Castillo doing so well against Floyd (both times... he still won a lot of rounds in the second fight with his work on the inside) is because he was able to get inside with his jab. If Floyd was better at defending the jab, he would have beaten Oscar a lot more one-sidedly, and Castillo would not have had as many opportunities to in-fight.

The jab will be the death of Floyd if he ever loses.

I see Pavlik by decision but I voted Floyd by decision just to make the poll closer. Floyd COULD outbox Kelly, people really think size is THAT much of a factor against someone of Floyd's calibur. However Kelly could pretty much walk through Floyd's punches to just throw a bunch of his own and win on activity alone.

He is Margarito... but bigger, with more skills and with a great jab, which is the best weapon to use against Floyd.

Im sorry but i MUST dismiss the castillo fight... Floyd was 24 yrs old... and has changed a lot in the way he fights and defends IMO...

Kellys jab is also not fast whatsoever... its not slow... but its not fast enough to be catching floyd all night... even if he got caught with for alittle bit... floyd would adjust... which is what i think is eactly what happened in the oscar fight, and is the direct reason of oscar not using it in the last half of the fight. Its not like Floyd is standing there with his face wide open for you to hit...

Floyd thinking and adaptability, really gives him a serious chance in there... hes capable of many things... where kellys pretty much been successful doing the same basics over and over.

and I dont discredit Kelly... hey if it works, dont fix it... i just think when you get in there with someone who can outthink you... that **** isnt gonna work all night.

Because its a ree****yaluss matchup. Pavlik is great at fighting tall. He's slow and basic, but he knows how to use his length. And you cant tell me with Floyd's defensive style, he wouldnt get caught with plenty of 1-2's against Pavlik.

That's without mentioning the fact that he's a Middleweight. Floyd fought Oscar at 154, and people are thinking he can hang with a top Middleweight? Come on now, you think Pavlik's body shots wont hurt Floyd?

All of Floyd's other fights are irrelevant. Those were much smaller men. Corrales, seriously? He didnt even throw jabs. He's an inside fighter, always has been.

Castillo isnt 6'3 170 pounds.
