LOL I'd have hoped so. DLH would have had the best chance of beating Cotto because of Cotto's slower body movement. The guys who gave DLH trouble were kinetic types like Mayweather and Mosley.

Cotto-type of fighters did pretty well against Oscar, even if they lost.

Alex De Jesus has 16 bouts. He is not going to outbox Mayweather. Mayweather would use some boxing tricks that come with experience to grit out a decision I would think.

I can't think of many fighters who were able to beat a legend who is not on their way out after only 16 fights.

I'm pretty sure Mayweather would kick Whitaker's ass if Whitaker only had 16 bouts. The same rings true for El Pollo Whitaker.

So this entire thread was a guise just so you could say: Cotto is better than Mayweather because he beat Mosley.... brilliant.

to be clear, not at all. that's not the reason behind this thread. floyd talks a big game, everyone knows it. he uses multiple reasons as to why cotto is not good enough for him. and each one of those reasons downgrades miguel's accomplishments in the eyes of fans because they take floyd's opinion over the actual truth. in other words they jump on the bandwagon and buy into his bull**** which he gets through the media
so let's break it down. floyd always got the same song. cotto didnt beat nobody, cotto is not marketable. we already know that cotto delivers PPV #s
as far as competition this is what this thread is for. it's about how fans, members of this site, view the whole matter from their prespective. this is an opinion thread, and at the end of the day it's what counts, because we're viewers and we pay money.
truth is cotto is by far a more accomplished 147 pounder than Floyd is. and of course we didnt need a thread explaining how what floyd is saying about cotto's marketability is bull****. Pure bull****.

It was Denny's right before a fight. I think it was a Nate Campbell fight, not sure. That is the closest thing to a diner in Florida.
