You cannot effectively box without a jab. Literally, boxing, to me, is scoring points in a round without engaging enough for your opponent to get a chance to score their own points. Shane Mosley cannot sit on a lead by protecting his lead with the jab. I just can't label him as a boxer.

Judah is not a slick boxer either IMO.

Just two fast guys who fight with their power shots. Not boxers in the sense of slickness.

Cotto can't beat Ricky Hatton at 140 and neither would Mayweather.

Its the Welterweight version of Whitaker, hes taking slowly cause rumors has it hes lazy, and needs experince but he'll soon go for a belt hes ranked 47 right now and Mayweather Cotto are taking all the time in the world to fight each other. Floyd already did , the paper says 147 but it was a jnr welter fight if real weight means more to you than the numbers stamped on the belt how many times do some of you need to be told the real weight of PBF vs Hatton . .

well not every boxer is as fast as those two. that's why they're able to get away with it. and i agree a talented jabber will always be a problem. even Big George in his later years truly learned the importance of a good jab. but you can still outbox an opponent without having a holmes-type jab. a decent one would do. but when you got the kind of hand speed that these guys have, they can enjoy that advantage.
but they're alot of brawlers who can actually box pretty well. one name that quickly pops up is gatti. true his game was improved working with Buddy, but arturo knew when to box and when to brawl. but judah and mosley are pretty good boxers. but i dont think you gonna see too much boxing on their PPV fight.

in the judah-mayweather fight zab was able to have his way with floyd even if it was for the first 3-4 rounds. floyds was able to turn it around because he came forward and pressured zab. when that happend he backs off and becomes a target. you can also pressure mosley but he wont go away.

See JUdah-Corley went the distance, Pollo has the style to beat Maqyweather because hes juwst as fast as he is and elusive, and seeing pollo play with floyds defense is priceless

Floyd weighed 147 and fought DLH at an even higher weight while Hatton weighed 145 and is not naturally as big as Floyd. If the fight was to be for the JWW titles that Hatton owns, why did Floyd not agree to fight at 140 where Hatton is clearly much better?
