Dude, Cotto lost 4 rounds, arguably 5 rounds against Malignaggi.

What makes you think he would beat Genero Hernandez (a much better pure boxer) at the age of 21?

Cotto is a much better boxer now than he was back then. ****, 10x better.

you didnt mention one that tops Mosleys name. my point in this is, all you mother ****ers keep asking who has he fought? then you shoot out lets look at their resume's etc...
Well looking at Cottos resume Mosley stands out like a sore thumb, yeah Floyd has a win over DLH true, but Mosley already beat that guy twice.
and Cotto like Floyd is a young up and comming undefeated champion who took a fight with a guy who beat DLH twice and he beat him clearley.
Floyd barely got by Oscar with a one point SD win, So in all honesty just knowing this alone, Cotto with out a fight with Margarito, has already earned his shot at Floyd, there is no excuse for the fight not to happen.
But becuase of delusional ****ers such as yourself these guys have to basicly all fight each other to get a shot at Floyd and it shouldnt work like that, Floyd should also be forced to fight them.
Cotto has earned his shot, those of you who say other wise dont have a ****ing clue

I made a post earlier in this thread saying that they both can probably beat everyone on both resumes.

Cotto would have the most problems with De La Hoya.
Mayweather would have the most problems with Mosley.

Remember, the jab = poison to Mosley. Mayweather has a good one if he decides to use it.
but why ODLH would give problems to Cotto, if Mosley has beaten ODLH TWICE! and Cotto in just one fight beat Unanimously Mosley? In my opinion Cotto would hurt, badly, ODLH.

I don't think you read my earlier posts, but I clearly specified, if Cotto started his career at the same weight as Floyd Mayweather. Because the only way to fairly determine if Cotto could beat anyone on Floyd's resume, we would have to assume it was under the exact same conditions.

Cottos too powerful, based on his power I'd belive he could move up 6 divsions. It'd be Cotto Pinto, basicly. Hes just started his career at Light Welterweight. HE can also box, he beat Sugar Shane who moved up a lot of divsions too and beat champions, see.

Are they in their prime bigger accomplishments than a 36 year old Mosley?

                      Yup.

People like to pretend Mosley was some beast recently. Is/was he a very good fighter? Yes. But it's not like he had beaten anybody of actual relevance in 5 years.
