As far as Cotto making PPV appearances faster then Floyd. He did less numbers with then Floyd did. He just came off one of the lowest ratings of a FREE HBO card of all things. If I were you I would drop that part of the argument.
negative if cotto fought someone like oscar than the numbers generated would kill all of the other past PPV that floyd had. he's a joke that benefited from other names to put himself on the map as a draw. which he's not. it took floyd his entire career to get a PPV in which he wasnt even an attraction. now you think about that.

And Mayweather dropped Corly a whole bunch of times.I thought he dropped Corly atleast 4 times the ref counted 2 knockdowns.

The Cotto stoppage of Corly was unjust cause Corly just took a knee.Had Corly been allowed to continue ,he probably would have made it to the scorecards or maybe even stop Cotto cause Corly caught him with a really
good shot early in the fight that wobbled him bad but Corly is such a poor finisher that he let Cotto off the hook.

Mayweather probably would have stopped Zab If Zab did`nt hit him low to get out of trouble like Cotto did to Zab.He did have Zab hurt then Zab hit him low after that.
Cotto knocked Corley down, then he hurt him again and he took another knee. It's just wishfull thinking that Corley was going to do anything but to get knocked out.

And Floyd wasn't even close to knocking Judah out, he did win the fight but it was nothing special. While Cotto brutally beat Judah into submision and made clear who the winner was. Let's not even get into Victoriano Sosa who Cotto beat like a *****, while Mayweather fought him to a boring decision.

Just stop making escuses for your boy anithing Floyd has done Cotto has done better. And when Cotto fight DLH the story will repeat itself.

it's not childish abuse man. he asked me the question, i gave him a response in which i owned him, he wont recognize it and goes to copypaste the bull**** he already wrote because he's got no other arguement to back it up. if he cant back it up then he should get the *** out of my thread.

            I R-e-p-e-a-t again.

As evidenced by Cotto's numbers with Judah compared to Floyd-Judah and his low ratings on a free HBO card........the evidence shows otherwise.

Delahoya-Mayweather did more numbers then two prime/undefeated fighters Delahoya vs Trinidad in 1999. One a puerto rican mega star and the other a mexican super star.

So despite everything I just told you, how in the world can you seriously say that Cotto-Delahoya would do bigger numbers then The World Awaits?

dont take cotto's fight with gomez. everyone knows that was an easy fight, it wasnt like he was facing mayweather (which he wants, but floyd is too much of a ***** to accept the challenge). judah was still hot 2 years ago when they fought. it was a fight that had 2 similar styles, 2 quick boxers. in that fight the interest was even, and mayweather just as well as judah was the attraction. now you'll see how december numbers with cotto dela hoya will do (if the fight is made) and then get back to me.

Oscar chose to fight Floyd over Cotto because the money is better..

                Simple as that..

Cotto is not as big as ya'll are pretending.

If fighting Cotto paid more you best believe Oscar would have fought him instead..

Easy or not easy, it was a free fight. Delahoya is about to "treat" the fans as he calls it to a free fight against Forbes on Free HBO. How do you think that will do. I doubt I ever read about Floyd having been part of one of the lowest ratings on HBO boxng ever when he fought on non-ppv events.

Well then you should have waited until December to make this thread because I responded now and I have facts to back up my argument that Cotto-Delahoya like Trinidad-Delahoya will not do bigger numbers then May 5th's The World Awaits.
