..."nothing special"....What on earth counts as something special in your book? because in my book someone who is unbeaten in 45 fights, has had 20 world title defenses and been recognised ring champion in two divisions simultaneously normally is a little bit special.

To answer the actual question of the thread, I have both fighters in my top 5 British boxers of all time, with Lennox ahead of Joe.

Lennox Lewis is probably the greatest English Heavyweight of all time, but I think Joe just edges him overall.

Obviously London-born boxer Joe Calzaghe is not the greatest boxer of all time, but he has never been beaten in his career and he has been a World Champion for well over a decade, so that makes him the greatest British boxer of all time in my view.

To beat the likes of Lacy, Kessler, Eubank, Hopkins, Mitchell, Reid etc. is very good but to be recognised as the greatest fighter on the planet in TWO weight divisions at the same time is just amazing.

Americans are truly awesome people and America is one of the greatest nations on Earth.

Us British produce a lot of truly great boxers for some tiny little island the size of Kansas, but there is still no need to be anti-American.
