#1 Joe Calzaghe
#2. Jimmy Wilde
#3. Bob Fitzsimmons
#4. Lennox Lewis
#5. Ken Buchannan
#6. Freddy Welsh
#7. Ted "kid" Lewis
#8. Chris Eubank
#9. Nigel Benn
#10 John Conteh
Lewis was knocked out twice by "B" level fighters. Many of Lennox opponents were hand picked, and all but one were smaller than himself.
Joe is the greater fighter.
He defeated Eubank, Hopkins, Kessler, Reid, Woodhall, Lacy, and Mitchell, all of whom were world champions. He is the Ring Champion in two weight divisions at the same time! Calzaghe defended his world title for over ten years.
And he didn't have Lennox size and reach advantage, he won because of his greater boxing skills!
All the racists will say "Don't be ridiculous - he couldn't be better because he's white!" but the truth is, Joe > Lennox.

criticising Lewis for "hand-picking" opponents as a way to strengthen Calzaghe's standing is too ironic for words.
Lewis is not considered top 3 by most boxing experts over here. Jimmy Wilde has always been #1 but more are now starting to consider Calzaghe as the #1 guy.
Calzaghe and Wilde>Lewis, Fitzsimmomns acheivments>Lewis too.
