    Lol, LENNOX Lewis?

Ted 'Kid' Lewis is the greatest non-America fighter ever - nobody can touch him.

Calzaghe doesn't make my top 10.

In terms of legacy, has to be Joe, eleven years world champ and undefeated. He needs to retire before something goes wrong and spoils his record.....like possibly Roy Jones!

In terms of best British fighter ever, his career or championship reign may not have lasted as long as Calzaghe's but I'd bet a peak 1991/92 Eubank would give Joe a whole world of trouble. Not the emaciated (he was due to fight at light heavy the night he ended up fighting Joe at short notice) Eubank of late 1997, that still gave a young Calzaghe a tough fight........still Calzaghe's toughest according to Joe.

          Actually pretty difficult to say.

Lewis' best wins on paper were over a dismal, declining Holyfield, and a completely washed-up Tyson. He avenged his losses which was great, though Joe hasn't had any.

Lewis beat Bruno (kinda see paralells between the quality of that victory and Joe's over Richie/Robin), Tucker, Briggs, Golota, Ruddock, Tua, Botha, Mercer, Grant, Morrison, Klitschko.

Calzaghe beat Woodhall, Reid, Starrie, Mitchell, Kessler, Lacy, Eubank, Brewer, Sheika.

Clearly neither have fought in divisions stacked with talent, both of them have turned in poor performances in their career, Lewis looked devastating when he performed (Golota, Briggs), Calzaghe same (Lacy), it comes down to whether or not you rate Lewis as a pound-for-pounder, and whether you can overlook Calzaghe's delayed jaunt to America (shoulda came much earlier, like Lewis)

          I'd say Lewis

Salvador lost to Patrick Ford (forget the dec).

Ted 'Kid' BEAT Benny Leonard according to the Washington Post. Benny Leonard is a consensus top 5-10 lb4lb all-timer. Ted 'Kid' fought the incredible Jack Britton about 300 times (Calzaghe wouldn't even rematch Robin Reid once... he lost to Reid, clearly). He won titles from bantamweight to heavyweight, amateur and pro. ROBBED against the consensus greatest European fighter ever Georges Carpentier (sucker-punched, ref clearly in on the act). Absolutely stands Lennox and Calzaghe on their heads in terms of greatness.

                Lennox Lewis? I mean seriously?

Frank Bruno was out-jabbing and out-boxing, and Ray Mercer beat him. Oliver McCall knocked him out. Hasim Rahman knocked him out. Holyfield was 10 years past his best, Tyson was 15-16 years past his best. I mean come on.

Calzaghe? He hasn't ****ing fought anyone near their best, and for ****ing 10 years fought Tocker Pudwill once a year (in front of 1,700 people at Cardiff Ice Rink). He's a disgrace!

By far the two greatest British fighters of the last 20 are Benn and Hamed.

Bruno had a great jab, Lewis had a slow start before crushing him with right hands. Frank looked like a beach whale on those ropes. Remember, Bruno gave prime Tyson a little trouble in 89, there's no shame in that. Point is, like Mike did, Lewis got started and the cream rose to the top.

Mercer fight was gruelling, Lewis fought Ray's fight and still won.

Kid Lewis, I can't say a great deal about him as I've only read up a little bit on him, but he lost to bums with 0-0 records, plus Carpenteir was past it when he fought Lewis, Dempsey had blasted him out and Battling Siki creamed him in the fight immediately afterwards (even having to help him to his feet)

Hamed feasted on bums and washed-up fighters his whole career, Benn had trouble with tomato cans like Lou Gent

One thing Wilde and Calzaghe got in common, both are Welsh, which shows how crap some of the english boxer are. They always come out with **** like ohh America is 5 times bigger than england. Well limies. England is 20 times bigger than Wales and you losers still ain't got he best boxer. It's pathetic the limiey excuses.
                      Haha, good point.

It's either Jimmy Wilde or Joe Calzaghe, says something about Wales, doesnt it?
