But Randall Hopkirk, it's true: Lewis resume was mostly hand-picked. I'll make a thread and take a look at Lewis resume sometime in detail, but I need to go to work now.

(for example, the limited Botha, sick Morrison, and Lewis wouldn't fight Tyson until he was shot).

What about Tocker Pudwill, Branko Sobot, Mger Mkrtchian, Evans Ashira, Miguel Jimenez and Kabary Salem? Hardly top opposition but fighters like these make up most of Joe's many title defenses.

        1. Joe Calzaghe
        2. Jimmy Wilde

One thing Wilde and Calzaghe got in common, both are Welsh, which shows how crap some of the english boxer are. They always come out with **** like ohh America is 5 times bigger than england. Well limies. England is 20 times bigger than Wales and you losers still ain't got he best boxer. It's pathetic the limiey excuses.

people talk about a young tyson, but a young naseem hamed was probably the most gifted british fighter iv ever seen. In terms accomplishments from recent british fighters id say:

          1. Lennox Lewis
          2. Joe Calzaghe
          3. Ricky hatton

Haven't seen enough of the older fighters to comment. Although Benn, Eubank, and Collins were all good world champions. Barry Mcguigan was that generation ricky hatton from what iv seen. Duke mckenzie was a good fighter. Allan minter ive also seen he was good

I vote for Lewis. Whether he is better is debatable, but he did fight in a stronger division than Joe.

Same could be said for a lot of Joes opponents. Whatever you say about Lewis' so called hand picked opponents most of them could seriously ****.

I find it hard to choose between them and I could make a case for and against for both, but they are my top2.

The difference is, Calzaghe didn't get KOed by two of HIS hand-picked opponents.
